I'm sorry but NONE of her albums have the collection of undeniable 10s that Peak Now has. Back to December, Dear John, Last Kiss, Enchanted, Long Live, not to mention solid 9's like Sparks Fly, Haunted, Castles Crumbling, Foolish One.. I just can't. Quality after quality after quality. Nothing compares. Except evermore (9.2), which scored higher than Speak Now's full score (9.1) for me.

It's not that I don't love it, but lbr as to her actually aging and writing way better than that, I get the cohesiveness of it but every rate has been the same for what? 10 years atp? There's no way y'all think she hasn't grown since speak now and like I said I love it but I don't think it's better than her later albums in general

The music is Timeless. It's not that she's not getting better, she is. It's just that Speak Now was ahead of its time. 
 

 
 

Also that's just the effect cult classics tend to have. The love for them never fades. Hopefully evermore starts to get that same reverence but it seems like folklore is the Speak Now of her later years in terms of universal adoration amongst the fanbase.

Also it's not like the scores for Speak Now would lower over time as she releases stronger/better albums, because most of us probably don't cross reference other albums as we score. At least I definitely don't. @Starchild So Speak Now will always be full of 9s and 10s even as she releases albums with 10s and 11s
