By now, it is beyond obvious Maduro lost, there's proof, everyone knows it. The thing is, how do we get him to accept he lost, Maduro is the #1 public figure from the goverment, but Diosdado Cabello is considered most of the times as the real enemy, that little guy is as evil as someone can be,  he already claimed they will not show the vote tallies and said that they will not give up power, so, again, how do we get them to accept their lost and leave??

We have to be patient, although not too patient. Let's give it a couple more days to see if this issue can be solved through international pressure, especially from friendly governments such as Brazil and Colombia. Maduro certainly won't listen to Javier Milei, but maybe he will listen to Lula. It seems unlikely though but we have to try the peaceful way one last time.

If nothing is achieved this way, then we have to consider less peaceful options ranging from massive protests in Caracas to an armed insurrection with the armed groups that have already offered to fight the regime, and many more groups that probably exist but have not made a public announcement yet.

This is a mess i am following this...and the videos of people kidnaped by Maduro's army is heartbreaking....politics, witnesses from the election day, random people outside or even kinaped from their own houses... people dead on the streets.

Lula always loved dictators, I shouldn't have expected much from him :monkey:
But the government is not just PT, so lets see if the pressure will make him do better
---

the revolution come from a man who is trying to gain sympathy using a bible? :sailing: tankies are really a disgrace, at this point they are in the same level as the fascists they supposedly hate so much

The far-left doesn't care about anything else if someone is screaming "I hate west and the american imperialism"
they are stuck in the cold war

Btw, Maria Corina confirms through a Wall Street Journal article that she is currently hiding and fearing for her life:

https://www.wsj.com/articles/i-can-prove-maduro-got-trounced-venezuela-election-stolen-772d66a0?mod=panda_wsj_custom_topic_alert

As I see it, she has two options: to hide in the Argentinian embassy and be protected by Brazil, or to flee the country.

Don't know what to comment at the moment, I believe a lot is going on behind the scenes that for sure remains private, so we'll see. In the end, this is out of our hands, since unfortunately it not only depends on Venezuelans, but on external factors. Furthermore, I am not sure if all Chavistas want to continue going off the cliff to which they decided to go by committing the mega fraud of the century.

On the other hand,

This has been Maduro in his latest appearances:

I hope he continues to deteriorate.

Maria Corina is a hero and probably the most courageous leader that the Venezuelan opposition has ever had.

The bad thing is that she supports Israel. :ace:

Maduro said yesterday that he wants to build 2 prisons of maximum security "without contemplation and forgiveness" for the people manifesting against him. Basically "concentration camps for the oposition" and he calls them re-education centers. Our modern Hitler :biblio:

This is horrible and really dangerous and the left of latin america is still silent about this  :biblio:

This is horrible. My brother told me they firing people for posting against the goverment or supporting Edmundo online

In PDVSA they are mad because most people vote against them. They are forcing people to go and celebrate Maduro's "victory" in the streets.

The CNE just announced their fake full numbers saying Maduro got 6.4 million and Edmundo 5.3 million :toofunny3:

And the worst is the other candidates from the "fake oposition" are shaking hands with Maduro and legitimating his win. Those traitors are shameless.

It is truly alarming how the dictatorship has increased persecution, kidnapping and violence in a matter of days. I think this is the first time they have used force as voraciously as this time. It's as if they already knew that they are going pal' coño, that they don't care about anything anymore.

The attacks and threats are very terrifying, my friends tell me that there is a strange feeling. The dictatorship is openly searching for ANY opposition in their homes and detaining/kidnapping them for no reason. They hate venezuelans because they were defeated immensely and there is substantial proof for it this time, while they can't find a way to cover it up.

Several friends are changing their photos on social media, making their accounts private for fear of the government. There are complaints that people who walk alone in the streets are stopped, their phones are checked, and if there are any photos related to the protests, they are taken into custody. The worst thing is that they show pride in doing so, totally rotten.

Oh yeah, the comedian Benjamín Rauseo ends up being the joke himself. 🤡

Everyone but Enrique Márquez actually.

Apparently there are some negotiations going on behind the scenes:

He really doesn't. That user loves bringing political twitter drama over here, strawman the f out of the left-leaning posters over here and fear-monger over some invented ''far-left'' boogeyman. :rip:

And I thought he was Brazilian (and not Venezuelan like you've claimed)? This is relevant because I would understand someone in the midst of all this mess would feel some type of way over people online invalidating their feelings, purposefully or not, but less so if that someone is not actually facing any direct repercussions of it.

For what's worth, I actually agree with the overall sentiment that a segment of the (online) left loves to dictate how others must feel about their situation as if they know better when they just don't, as evidenced by the pic he posted on the comment I originally replied to, but that then doesn't mean he can just spread weird bitter misinformed posts over some imaginated ''far-left'' and throw everyone that considers themselves left-leaning under the bus with no pushback.

Cualquier cosa adicional, la paso por acá.

I recently find out he was the brother of a coworker and the saddest parte is that he used to have two kids... this is so unfair.

Today they kidnapped someone my mom knows. He is a LGBT activist. I would appreciate if you guys can share this tweet.
