2024 Venezuela Election: Maduro won by fraud, Protests going on.

It's nice to see other Venezuelans in here. I left the country for Colombia 9 years ago after the protests of 2014...

I thought after such a long time, I would somehow be shielded from whatever the outcome of the elections would be. I was wrong - I have found myself thinking of everything that has been stripped from us, from me... I get angry and hopeless, and cry. I am disgusted at how EVIL a group of people can be.

Laughable statement, the fact it does not condemn the violence caused by the dictator... Also to "remember the Chávez spirit", curious, the same one which was only interested in stealing, destroying, taking revenge, who committed a coup d'état, and was thirsty for power to the point that he eliminated the indefinite election and increased the presidential term, Democrat? The joke tells itself. Can't expect anything less from this scum jalabolas. Poor Colombia.

The fact that those vote tallies used to be released the same night of the elections or earlier the next day and now it's been 3 days and they haven't even shown the breakdown of their fake numbers by state like they usually do :rip:

They don't really know how to hide their fraud this time  :dies:

Well at least that's something from Bernie I guess, the problem is that the "Venezuelan law" is 100% controlled by the goverment.

Maduro is saying that they will finally show their vote tallies

I guess they finally faked the whole thing and they will obviously be different from the ones presented by the oposition since the first day :rip:

I mean why it took them so long to collect the evidence if they control the electoral system? Why we haven't seen the results by state like it happens every election?

Estoy buscando, solo recuerdo haber visto este tweet de donaciones para el entierro de uno de los asesinados (QEPD).

Cualquier cosa adicional, la paso por acá.

This, it is so obvious they will publish fake numbers, the question is, what will Queen Corina's next move be? I am really curious.

This comment (in spanish) shows how useless is the system in Venezuela:

Chavismo has in common that it brings out the worst in human beings, there are no words for how sadistic and rotten they are.

Second bulletin with the results by the CNE has been suspended. Their website is still down since the elections finished, more than 3 days ago.

In the meantime,

The OAS resolution urging "the CNE to publish the minutes at the level of each electoral center immediately" was not approved due to lack of majority, it stands out: absence of Mexico (expected) and abstention of Colombia and Brazil.

Ideology is more powerful than the defense of democracy, a mockery. It should be noted that both nations are among the most affected by the large wave of migrants who have fled to these countries. Let's hope that later they will not complain about the new diaspora of emigrants that is expected if the serious national crisis is not resolved.

I highlight the intervention of Peru, which could not speak more clearly.

"Los jóvenes nos repudian porque no somos coherentes, decimos una cosa y venimos acá y nos abstuvimos (…) de esos muertos, los 17 que votamos no somos responsables, que cada uno en su conciencia asuma"

Is Maduro left or right wing?

Venezuela at this point is not about  left of right, a very stupid way to pick a side. This is about democracy and freedom vs Dictatorship.

The more he is criticized and asked to stop, the more violent and unapologetic he acts. Fawking piece of trash.

Yeah anyone who counted on Lula to do the right thing after his milquetoast statement was sadly disappointed. He will always support the dictators.

I am center-right wing but I am not ready to condenm Petro, Lula and AMLO since they haven't recognized Maduro yet. The three of them are going to have a group phone call today and hopefully they will pick the right side. It is possible that they are trying to be mediators in this issue and know that if they condemn Maduro, no one will pick up the phone in Caracas when they call and two of these countries share borders with Venezuela. Today, Maduro publicly asked Lula to pick up the phone (meaning he's not answering) and Lula talked to Biden a couple days ago so it looks like Lula is not ready to recognize Maduro yet.

4 days later we still don't know results by state, city or polling station, the Venezuelan regime has refused to show the records that show that Maduro won, whereas the Opposition showed the world 80% of the records that they posses less than 24 hours after the election. Maduro knows he lost and has no way to prove it. I actually doubt Maduro will still be "president" 2 months from now. It was just such a huge and obvious fraud that only other dictatorships will recognize him. Maria Corina is a hero and probably the most courageous leader that the Venezuelan opposition has ever had.

By now, it is beyond obvious Maduro lost, there's proof, everyone knows it. The thing is, how do we get him to accept he lost, Maduro is the #1 public figure from the goverment, but Diosdado Cabello is considered most of the times as the real enemy, that little guy is as evil as someone can be,  he already claimed they will not show the vote tallies and said that they will not give up power, so, again, how do we get them to accept their lost and leave??
