if she looks up to Britney as much as she says she does, wouldn't it be at least common courtesy? Assuming Britney doesn't have any rights to her own song. And the parallels to Britney in the video are clear, like come on.

See if Britney had kept the post up for at least 2 days, then removed it and put up a nice post explaining that she had reached out to Halsey and now understands her struggles and connects with her and then APOLAGIZING. Then it would've turned lemons into lemonade and painted Britney as mature....and gotten both ladies some good promo.
