Like all the songs so far, but don't love any... hoping a whole album they all grow on me.
I do always enjoy her music as a body of work rather than singles I guess :giraffe:

Will take a listen. Amazing she's still going, too, especially for competing on Nashville Star. Much like Kelly Clarkson, it's hard to imagine that she was on a singing competition. So happy for her continued success in music.

My fave track from this year is "Ain't It Kansas Anymore" from Twisters OST. This should be on the album :(

I Loved "Alimony" too, I love this "honky tonk" style.

I also think it's amazing she still doing "real country music".

Same, or that she hasn't crossed over to pop like so many have. It's nice to see [some] remain in their genre, although, I'm always okay with a good quality crossover. But her voice just fits country, and that's good in my book.

YES! Ugh I'm so excited. She makes some of the absolute best country music.

Excited for this but I wonder if she’ll ever top The Weight of These Wings

my thoughts exactly, i'm a lifelong fan but the last two albums didn't hit in the same way as the eternal classic wings.

not loving any of these first three songs but there will be hidden gems like there are on every miranda album.

Juding by the released songs, I don't think so... but at least, I'm rooting to this new one to top "Palomino"

TWOTW is such a masterpiece even considering she has an awesome discography.

Can't wait! im not crazy about these three songs she's put out so far tbh.

Her last album is  probably one of my fav albums of hers. But she ditched that era so quickly. I was mad.

So excited to hear it! I'm not a fan of the artwork, it looks like Palomino one. Even though she's unknown in my country, I've been following her career more or less since Wildcard. How would you rank her discography ?

Are there songs that sound like this record? Yesterday, I discovered Smokin and Drinkin

The new songs are fine, especially Alimony!

1. Platinum

2. Palomino (underrated)

3. Revolution

4. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

5. The Weight of These Wings

(These five album… I literally cannot choose)

6. Wildcard (Sounds like watered down version of Platinum tbh, but I love track record so much)

7. Four the Record

8. Kerosene

I'm not a huge fan of Platinum, I think it's a bit noisy.

The "Marfa Tapes" project with John Randall and Jack Ingram could be #6 on the list above. I also love all the Pistol Annies albums, specially the last one.

this is my same top two, excellent taste.

im not sure how i'd rank the rest but i do have a soft spot for 'four the record', so many of her best hidden gems especially the immaculate oklahoma sky.

"Safe" from that album is such a great song too. It should be a single.

It's kinda hard to classify her discography, even "Platinum" being the last one on my list, I love that album.

How did I miss this??? Randomly saw it on apple music suggestions like okay

Wings has never clicked for me. :rip:Love Vice and Tin Man but the rest just doesn't hit. Maybe bc its so long. Need to revisit at some point alongside Four and Platinum too

First 3 records are all great. Four feels lacking. Platinum is like half amazing but then I have no idea what any of the last few songs are. :rip:Wildcard was decent and Palomino was great. The Marfa Tapes was genius and its criminal we never got a studio version of Ghost. All 3 Pistol records are fantastic especially Annie Up.
