ThehushSound Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Interesting choice for the cover but song wise she's 3 out of 3 for me! Gonna be a fun album! 1

Curaga Posted August 30 Posted August 30 I'm claiming Skin Is Looking Better Can't wait for the album! 1
ThehushSound Posted September 6 Posted September 6 It's cute, I think it will be a grower I think there is a lot of nuance in the production that will be come more noticeable and appreciated as time goes on and I listen more often. Of the new tracks, Heaven Knows and Friend Zone caught my attention, I don't think the interludes (Diva's, B*tch!, and Skin) add much to the album. 1
computer.boy Posted September 6 Posted September 6 (edited) I agree, it's a cute record but those interludes don't add much to the record. I really enjoyed "IOU / Back to the Market!", though. Edited September 6 by computer.boy 1
wraith Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Yeah, the interludes will be getting deleted but there are a few bops on here. Hopefully the full thing grows on me. 1
Ewan Chaos Posted September 6 Author Posted September 6 I actually love the album a lot I like the "modern day muses" aspect of the interludes and they're short so idm listening to them with the album. This is kinda the album I was expecting post Good Look for You EP though I'm glad she waited a bit and went in a different direction first with Madame Gold. The singles all still are amazing and my immediate favorites outside of them were Back on the Market, Anybody Home, and Heaven Knows. 2
Alfred Bulgakov Posted September 6 Posted September 6 it's giving What's Your Pleasure, which is always a good sign 2
ThehushSound Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I'm going to listen in full again tonight when I get home from work but listening to the various tracks on shuffle during lunch. I like them all individually I think I might have a small problem with sequencing on the album the tracks from Back on the Market to Friend Zone all have pretty similar energy and bpms I think having a distinctly faster or slower song to break up that run would help give the album more depth. It might even help to move Off The Wheels up in the sequencing.
ultraviolence.xx Posted September 6 Posted September 6 stun stun stun. hope the girls are taking notes!
Kinich Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Definitely a huge step up from the previous album, Back On The Market and Anybody Home? are my faves outside of the singles
