Walk_Away21 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 The year of Sabrina. In the top 5 of most streamed 2024 female albums without the album out yet. 3 1 8
Donquizote Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Not Sabrina's album with only two songs outstreaming an album with 27 songs Cruel Summer is also outstreaming the entire Cowboy Carter daily 3
Archetype Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Everyone, including Beyoncé, forgot this album exists. I think she promoted her hair care line more than the album. 5

Pheromosa Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Shakira's playlist Cowboy Carter really was a cash grab huh? Learning all of this music was made before Renaissance shook me 1
Toxic.Latin Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Sabrina, the queen that u are, i am afraid she'll be stomping everyone on august tho...
Badgalbriel Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Cowboy Carter is just not that girl. Beyoncé can do better 3
Xtripped Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I really hate how Beyonce treated CC. Sabrina is about to smash spotify with S&S.

It's mostly streams from one of the singles. AND congrats to our young Sabrina, she's great and deserves the success! Now lets aim to be in that tweet 25 years from now. 1
Kylizzle Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Maybe if Bey promoted Bodyguard we wouldn't be in this situation

Stallo Posted July 24 Posted July 24 The saddest part is that CC streams are completely carried by THE and not the project as a whole. Second most streamed song gets 180k daily
MatiRod Posted July 24 Posted July 24 (edited) I think with 'Cowboy Carter', outside of "Texas Hold 'Em" which went viral and captured the zeitgeist, it's a case of Beyonce's audience not being your typical country listeners by and large, and the typical country listener not being Beyonce's audience either. The venn diagram doesn't match. Whereas with Post Malone's country era, he seems to be taking extra steps to ensure the country audience is on board by making all the singles collabs. I think Beyonce should still be commended for broadening her sound and experimenting with genre. It's still a big album, but I think this is what's behind the relatively low streams for the album tracks. Whereas for Renaissance, house diva fit much easier into her established sound.
