Not too much on Miss Bex pls lol. I still stand by my point, though - which centered on their potential. Diddy may be many things, but his MTB rigorous, multi-season search yielded some of the best talent we've seen in a long time. The very fact that a single group featured Dawn, Aundrea, and a peak Aubrey says it all. D. Woods and Shannon are very talented too. To varying degrees and in different lanes, they literally all could feasibly have been solo stars. And when they power up as a unit, it's even more electric. Which IMO is why they are the definition of a supergroup. I'm a DC stan, but there legit hasn't been a group since En Vogue where this was the case. And I'll go a step further to add that DK had the fact they sang and danced (their a**es off) as an added metric of being unrivaled in terms of what they "could" have become. Even the polish they showed with their return (DK4/DK3) in comparison to their early days (when they were already better than most) made it crystal clear they were coming for blood and were only going to get better. Again, I don't think I will EVER get over the tragedy of their overall story lol. I have never seen such a colossal fumble. Everyone is to blame lol. From the members themselves to Diddy to the label to the management, all dumb af. They had a dynamic, insanely talented, authentically popular, multi-racial group on their hands and let it implode for no defendable reason. Stripping away all stan emotion, there was SO MUCH money to be made for all of the aforementioned and instead, it's a steaming pile of "what if". 1
Spicy_TyTy Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I was so excited for this era and the music was so good!! I was stalking the daily Danity Kane Twitter account daily and this news wrecked me 😂 Apparently they were just about to shoot visuals for the project shortly before the fight happened. Also the last era we ever see Aubrey give choreo… 1
El Nino Posted July 23 Posted July 23 This tweet is damn near 2 months old. Lemonade was an excellent song. The album had some highs but as whole is ok.
xluvxduffxmusicx Posted July 24 Posted July 24 The way this was the worst song on the album. Tell Me, Two Sides, Roulette and Bye Baby >>>>
Attitude Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Stereotypes were smart to put a clause like that in their contract. They broke up the day after the fight so they're lucky they didn't get sued. 1
Gabers05 Posted July 24 Posted July 24 (edited) I'm still glad we got the album but man when the news of that fight/breakup happened it was such a gut punch. I was like cannot believe us as fans have to go through this again. I really thought they weren't gonna drop the album and after hearing Rhythm of Love & All In A Days Work I was devastated I wanted those songs so bad. Glad we got them in the end and glad DK4 version of All In A Days Work leaked. Wish all the DK4 versions of the songs leaked. This will always be a group I have so many "what ifs" about.
