MusicLoverDude Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Liquorice - I hate this woman as a person so I hate to admit that I actually liked this song. DAMN YOU AZEALIA SENDER!!!!!
MusicLoverDude Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Avalanche - top 3 on Love Sux - I love that the song builds in intensity which matches the emotional intensity of the song. Great choice
MusicLoverDude Posted August 3 Posted August 3 All the Way Down - another pleasant discovery from Kelela - her voice sounds so sweet yet so rich. This is up there now with LMK on my favorite Kelela songs. Very nice job
richelle Posted August 3 Posted August 3 rachel chinouriri - if only sweet song, nothing special. i dont really have anything to say about it
richelle Posted August 3 Posted August 3 tinashe - gravity kind of forgot there was a song playing and then it ended
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Beyoncé - YA YA: from one bop to another. not my fav CC track but a great track regardless
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Perfume Genius - On the Floor: another good track. Not sure where it will land in my ranking though. There are so many promising songs still to come 😭
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Troye Sivan - Can't Go Back, Baby: Yeah, this is a cute song, I really like it. I hope his cheating ex boyfriend got an STD though
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Cocteau Twins - Pitch the Baby: A bold choice to send I think but not bad at all. I think I'll rate it somewhere in the middle.
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 PinkPantheress - Ophelia: It's all right. I don't mind listening to it in the context of the album, but I wouldn't choose to listen to it on its own, to be honest.
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Tove Lo - i like u: A bop. From the Dirt Femme deluxe tracks I prefer Borderline to this but still a great track.
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 beabadoobee - Ever Seen: I've never heard of her but omg she is so pretty. At the beginning I feared this song would be boring but I began to like it more as it progressed.
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Taylor Swift - I Wish You Would (Taylor's Version): Of all the 1989 tracks, this one falls somewhere in the middle for me. I also prefer the original version. In general, I think 1989 TV is her worst re-recording. Maybe this song could still make the top 10 in my ranking, but we'll see.
richelle Posted August 3 Posted August 3 mitski - working for the knife i don't know if i'm just not in the right headspace for this song but
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Kaiyko - End Now I See You: Lovely voice but the song isn't interesting to me, it just came and went
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Janelle Monáe - 57821: not me pulling up google to understand the lore in this song jdjfh
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Azealia Banks - Liqourice: You don't know how much bussy soap I would buy to get this Azealia back that used to release real bops 1
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Ethel Cain - Sun Bleached Flies: Spoiler I was confused for a second when the bridge began and I didn't hear a dance beat in the background because I was thinking about the Robyn mashup nnn
Crashed Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Mandy Moore - Only Hope: Can we please leave the cheesy movie ballads in the 90s where they belong
richelle Posted August 3 Posted August 3 mutya buena - real girl giving mid 2000s feel good anthem, watching your big sister get ready to go out and smelling her Fantasy perfume
