Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Dagny - Bye Bye Baby The chorus really lacked a bit of punch but it was a fine listen overall.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 The Weeknd - Save Your Tears Aged a lot now but it was one of my immediate faves when I first listened to the album.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness Another song that didn't age well for me but I guess I'll give a few nostalgia cookie points.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Slayyyter - Purrr Ok that woke me up, a lot of points were definitely made.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Billie Eilish - ilomilo Not really a fan of her debut album but this one was of the few songs that caught my attention there.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 The Ready Set - Teammate Not really my cup of tea of song but I thought it was okay.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Frank Ocean - Lost Not really my fave in this album but it was cute enough.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Katy Perry - Only Love SEXY... CONFIDENT... ok jk. It wasn't that offensive, I'll give her that.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Victoria Monét - Good Bye Really really smooth start, just chill vibes overall.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Kendrick Lamar - XXX. I appreciated that switch up around the second half of the song.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Nadia Oh - S.E.X. Why do I hear My Oh My by Ava Max in this? A very risky/bold choice tho I must say.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Azealia Banks - Soda Doesn't hit hard now as much as before but it was fine.
Kinich Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Alvvays - Belinda Says Very dreamy and it was a nice song to end this round with.
MusicLoverDude Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Interesting to see Muffy Crosswire, Janet Jackson and Sabrina Carpenter among the pictures of the most active members of the thread so far.
Rotunda Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Diva - Seeing this live made me appreciate it a lot more. Her serve. Younger & Dumber - Right up my alley. No Mozart - It's fine? It's a passable kind of filler track for me. Brave New World - Feels like it was made for the intro to a kid's movie. Quite cute. Perfume - This grew on me over the course of the listen. I enjoyed it. Smoke - Best song of all time Te Amo - Not something I regularly revisit but whenever this comes on I enjoy it. Lost Boy - I don't share Dessy's obsession with this twink, but this was cute. Trust a Try - A good reminder that I haven't actually heard this album in full. I liked this. Intro was kinda funny. visions -Honestly, it's not one of my favs from this project, but I don't dislike it. Tear Me Open - Surprisingly unchic Pretty Isn't Pretty - Wow even the 10th best song on this album is still pretty solid Paramore - Paramore doesn't hold the significance for me that it does for a lot of users on this forum. This is solid though. skyline, be mine - ngl I zoned out, I'm sorry girl cyber meat - not mad at this choice
nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Group A Critiques Sabrina Carpenter - skinny dipping Inoffensive & unmemorable. I would never listen to this again as it's not my personal cup of tea but I appreciate the songwriting and attention to detail. 2/5

nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Lexie Liu - i wanna tell u Very pretty song - I love the guitar riffs in the bridge. Props for serving us some linguistic diversity in a sea of English. 4/5
nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Sky Ferreira - Love In Stereo It's not 24 Hours, but it'll do. Every song on this album is something magical, which makes it all the more painful that she abandoned her momentum. 4/5
Noah Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Sabrina Carpenter - Skinny Dipping - the verses are very bad but everything else is good Lexie Liu - I Wanna Tell U - cute song Sky Ferreira - Love in Stereo - classic Kesha - Boots - loved this song when the album first came out and I still love it <3 Megan Thee Stallion - Kitty Kat - bop Adele - To Be Loved - interesting choice Foxes - Sky Love - pretty generic. like something you would hear in the background of a low budget netflix original tween series The Marías - No One Noticed - a bit of a snooze but it's not awful Ariana Grande - Love Language - cute song Carly Rae Jepsen - Solo - it's nice Gwen Stefani - Danger Zone - not feeling this one Kelela - Onanon - lovely song Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club - modern classic Lorde - Mood Ring - great song from one of the best albums of all time <3 Megan Moroney - Sleep on My Side - didn't expect to like this but I did Charli XCX - Apple - one of my least favs from that album but it's still great
nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Kesha - Boots I think if she had been making music like this from the beginning, there never would have been any doubts about her talent. But then we'd probably never know she existed, as this isn't something you'd see on top of the charts. Kesha is talented and that's the verdict. 4/5
nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Megan Thee Stallion - Kitty Kat This is fun and I definitely started moving there's a sample here that I can't put my finger on but it makes the song a total bop. As I always say with these short songs, a minute more would've been great. 3/5
nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Foxes - Sky Love Who can resist a talented chanteuse belting over a generic EDM beat? Not me, that's what some of us live for. 4/5
nostalgic Posted July 28 Posted July 28 The Marías - No One Noticed There's some flavors of trip-hop here, so you'll be getting some points. Relaxing without ever putting you to sleep (not everyone can relate). 4/5
