Queen of the Europe. I wish she can be as big in the US, then she would probably block Eminem there, too.

I wish she's more local in the US the way eminem is. Ugh.

Not him being blocked from #1 for over 11 years :ahh:

I'm not surprised. She's been everywhere here these past few days. Radio is playing her all the time, everyone is discussing her concerts, I hear her music outside everywhere, she's on the cover of so many newspapers, news broadcasts have entire dedicated sections about her, there are dozens of books about her being sold at book stores… it's crazy. :deadbanana2:

I mean I wonder if their ever was a tour by an international artist this huge here, like ever...

I mean 7 stadium dates is absolutely crazy. 60k people a night in GE alone is just insane. No wonder it's such a phenomenon. Oh, Taylor, the legend that you are. To think that during Reputation Tour barely 6 years ago they weren't confident in touring Europe for stadiums at all and now 7 dates in this country alone. It's so crazy ugh.

OT: Wow :clap3: Can't stand Eminem's music anymore, no growth, no evolving, no nothing and it's not even listenable. The GP has spoken.

I think it's revenue based or something like that.

Coldplay did six shows in 2022 (Frankfurt and Berlin) and are scheduled for six more now (Düsseldorf and Munich). They have focused on Europe a lot more than Taylor over the years though, so I would say she is equally impressive :gaycat:

For females is Helene Fischer with her 2017 album which was #1 for 4 weeks.

For international artists & females is ABBA's Voyager and Adele's 25 both were #1 for 3 weeks. If she gets a 4th week, the longest since Divide (7 weeks)

Do you know who would be the international female for 4+ weeks if not 25?

Since most of the international females rarely hit #1 in the album charts, it's probably Adele again but with 21, 8 weeks.

It has been based on weekly revenue generated since 2007. It therefore includes both sales + premium streams (though the top 2 track streams are discarded and the average of the remaining tracks is instead taken into account).

She will extremely likely get 4 weeks, maybe 5

Number 1 for an international artist in the 13th week in Germany is insane. This album is extremely successful all over Europe

Non-German speaking female artists with 4+ weeks this century:

  • Adele, 21 - 8 weeks
  • Lady Gaga, The Fame/The Fame Monster - 4 weeks
  • Amy Winehouse, Back to Black - 12 weeks
  • Nelly Furtado, Loose - 8 weeks
  • Norah Jones, Feels Like Home - 5 weeks
  • Anastacia, Anastacia - 9 weeks
  • Dido, Life for Rent - 4 weeks
