Junlin Posted July 17 Posted July 17 (edited) The Guardian - 5/5 Quote A glorious celebration of pop perfection. The star gives a dazzling performance of 35-plus years of pop hits – often in beefed up and euphoric new arrangements – leaving the crowd beaming, breathless and emotional. Rolling Stone UK - 5/5 Quote Career-spanning pop-rave euphoria from an age-defying icon. Undoubtedly, few artists can hold an audience's attention as effortlessly as Kylie who, four decades into her career, continues to deliver the ultimate crowd-pleasing pop spectacle. This pop queen's London takeover proves her unchallengeable place atop the throne remains perfectly intact. Attitude - 5/5 Quote Iconic isn't enough. Fitting five decades of hits into a 90-minute set is not only impressive but also relatively unheard of. Kylie defies all expectations set on her by an industry that is prevalent with misogyny and ageism. London Evening Standard - 5/5 Quote She was pure Aussie sunshine and just what we needed after this short, wet, grey summer. musicOMH - 4.5 Quote A phenomenon returns. Nine years since her last Hyde Park headline show, you wouldn't bet against Kylie Minogue's necessary and deserved return for more in the 2030s. Independent - 4/5 Quote A reminder of her undeniable cool...An absolute beast on stage. She is, undeniably, in uncharted territory when it comes to her place in the industry, of a kind that only Madonna can truly relate to. This is a woman who has long surpassed the expected lifespan of pop fame, whose work continues to fill clubs and inspire new artists – the excitement on the faces of pop stars Anitta, Tove Lo, and Bebe Rexha, all of whom join her on stage tonight, is a sight to behold. Telegraph - 4/5 Quote The Hyde Park crowd encompassed both young children grooving with their parents and grandparents and millennials joyously singing along. Few artists can reach across the generations like this; Minogue makes it look effortless. The i - 4/5 Quote Kylie has managed the impossible - she's remained contemporary after four decades. Throughout, Kylie proved that legacy and relevance are two sides of the same coin. the way she keeps winning can you stand it? Edited July 17 by Junlin 6 3

xluvxduffxmusicx Posted July 17 Posted July 17 This was a great setlist and show for this type of event. It gets me though how some of her fans say she needs to keep this setlist for the tour or add other old tracks she hasn't performed in a while. That is absolutely not the case. Her next tour needs to be about the era concurrently going.
shark_heather Posted July 17 Posted July 17 It was really one of the best experiences in my life Now announce the tour dates and get all my coins 1

Junlin Posted July 18 Author Posted July 18 She's so effortlessly cool and stunning, no need of circus choreography or aerobatic stunts, simply Kylie™ perfection one after another, old songs with refreshing rearrangement and new songs sitting well with the classics. Love to see she got more dancers making her more of a superstar as it always should, also the backdrop visual is really pleasing, such a beautiful show, such a legend, hopefully I could see her live really soon. 1
skizzo Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I'm glad she shuffled her setlist a bit with this performance, definitely a welcome change
