Cori is my rep. This is sad what's happening

I'll be honest. If all it takes to replace you is spending money then you weren't gonna win anyway. Money helps but it is never the sole deciding factor. Especially for a massive swing

Some of you don't have to feel compelled to post about politics if you are happily ignorant to how politics works.

Oh yeah, she's done. There's no nuance to voters with ads like that about her voting against the Infrastructure bill:deadbanana2:

Very much this, Cori Bush is corrupt and has embezzled money to benefit her husband. That's probably why her approval rating is below 50% even among Democrats while her opponent sits at 70%

Oh yeah of course it has nothing to do with AIPAC, sure. They tried to do the same with Sumer Lee she was winning and then AIPAC dumped millions on that race to defeat her but thankfully she was able to squeak out a win. This isn't pop music where u can change reality, spending millions to smear someone does work unfortunately, because their are a lot of gullible people and edgelords like u

People want politicians who are going to solve their problems, not complain about Biden and Israel all day and vote against things that would help the constituents out of some ill-conceived sense of

moral superiority, all the while filling their own pockets with embezzled money. It's that simple. I guess her consistently abysmal approval ratings were also engineered by the Zionist lobby or something :rip:

The editorial board of the St. Louis Dispatch, largest newspaper in the region, has enthusiastically endorsed Wesley Bell and excoriates Cori Bush's public record:

Quote

For the past four years, the district has been in the hands of U.S. Rep. Cori Bush, a Democrat who has generally appeared less interested in working that system for the good of her constituents than attacking it on behalf of a small, hard-left klatch of lawmakers — "the Squad" — who are good at getting headlines but bad at actually accomplishing anything.

Democratic primary voters in the overwhelmingly Democratic district weren't offered a viable alternative to Bush two years ago. This year, they have a terrific one.

Bush's almost immediate induction into the small clique of progressive House rabble-rousers positioned her as a darling of fringe-left activists — and thus irrelevant to what actually happens in Washington.

Bush voted against the Biden administration's landmark infrastructure package — one of only six House Democrats to do so — to protest the fact that a separate social-spending package was stalled. That myopic stance helps explain why labor interests that previously backed Bush have moved to Bell.

Bell, currently St. Louis County's prosecuting attorney, arose from the same Ferguson protest movement that Bush did and touts mostly the same progressive stances. But he actually walks the walk, getting elected to the Ferguson City Council in the wake of the protests and working toward police reforms such as body cameras and external investigation of police brutality allegations.

Please don't even comment on anything politics related again, to avoid embarrasing yourself

Cori Bush was cleared on this, hiring her husband was above board and he has a background in security.

This is an article from 2023 and the DOJ began investigating her in 2024 so not sure how they could have cleared her of those charges the year before they began investigating

Someone here literally said (quoting) "those Jews are useful idiots and their thirst and lust for bloodshed is chilling. But that's just who they are" so don't expect anything to happen sadly
