Invincibles Posted July 26 Posted July 26 I'm sorry but this singer is NOT giving. They should've had Celine singing Imagine.

Gwendolyn Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 I wonder if my home country is censoring half of the ceremony right now 2
Invincibles Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Not "we stand and call for peace" with Israel allowed to participate there's nothing more CORNY that Western calls for peace. 3
nathanspears Posted July 26 Posted July 26 This is one of the weirdest and worst opening ceremonies I've ever seen

America is quite literally the only country in the world that has the money, resources, talent, and production to top Beijing 2008. LA is also the entertainment capital of the world so 2

Ramooon Posted July 26 Posted July 26 It feels like something that should take seconds or at most 1-2 minutes is dragging on for 15-20 minutes. I've run out of patience watching this. It feels like I've been watching it for 6-7 hours. I laughed while watching Gaga's performance, thinking it was way below her standards and more like a school play. But it turns out, it is still the best part of the opening show 1 1

Spoiler I still remember when he saw two fruity dancers in Benidorm Fest backstage thingy and said "they're an infection", lives in my mind rent free (funnily enough, the next act after that one in Benidorm was a straight af boyband but he was already gone LOL)
