that being said, doja isn't the one who willingly went back to luke in hopes to get a hit so obviously one artist will get dragged more

 

doja is also the one who signed to him before the kesha allegations and was also the one who was shelved for years until moo went viral and luke started involving himself in her music

 

AND she is also the one without any luke credits in her latest album

 

we had this discussion 27622761 times already but somehow stans ignore it and ask the same question over and over again

There's no way that you guys would accept a rapist's production, because said artist is forced to work with him.

i have streamed woman's world multiple times even though i don't agree with katy's choice to work with him

 

the point is people act like other artists never get any lashings which isn't true at all

Lady Gaga is working with her choreographer Ricky which has been accused of physical abuse and sexual assault by ten people.

 

Beyonce worked with The-Dream in her recent album which is accused of rape and sexual battery.

 

Lana Del Rey worked recently with Quavo a woman beater and abuser.

 

Rihanna worked with Johnny Depp, a wife beater.

 

but the stans want to act morally superior but I don't see the same energy they give to Katy towards other artists, it's just pure hypocrisy because the most of these fake morally superiors were bopping to Dr Luke's produced songs like Say So, Need to Know and Kiss Me More.

Everyone was dragged! Don't pretend like they weren't. But if you don't understand the difference between being willing to work with a r*p*st, then that's on you. Katy and Kesha debuted around the same time; they grew and faced challenges in this industry together. They were seen as friendly, often pictured together hanging out off set. Katy was even judicially involved in Kesha's case. Yet after all of this, Katy collaborated with him on a song about female empowerment, which feels like a complete affront to what Kesha has been through. All those who worked with Luke faced backlash, but Katy is the only one with this particular background.

 

It's easy to understand. It also brings up complex moral dilemmas.

also both things aren't really that comparable

luke allegations happened a decade ago and it involves another pop girl, kesha

the developments in the case over the years have been public and it was always a sensitive topic on among stans and ATRL

 

quavo is lowkey irrelevant now and many people are not aware of his incident with saweetie 

and what he did is obviously bad but it doesn't include rape which is way WAY worse

 

which highlights my point again: other artists also get dragged BUT not as much as katy because there are different factors that play into it

 

edit: forgot to add, katy was also personally involved in the case, unlike other artists

Love Nicki but she had a banner in here for like a month when her album dropped. An album that includes at least 2 Dr Luke productions, one of them being a #1 single that was widely celebrated when it hit the top. Yet the mods choose to be.. playful with Katy's comeback. If you don't see the double standards and the selective fake outrage then idk what to tell you.
