These lashings were expected but how on earth does this sound anything like Stupid Love?

Lashings deserved.

Why did she think this song deserved to see daylight, as a lead single nonetheless? Why did no one on her team decide to speak up and warn her? I truly don't get it. She's totally lost it creatively.

working with a rapist is what's unprofessional here. using that controversy for clout is what katy is doing here.

as a former katy kat she can rot in hell after this

it's very hypocritical since when Doja worked with him she did not get a drag (Kim is the same)

With its pulsating synths and steamroller chorus, "Woman's World" is clearly modeled on Lady Gaga's 2020 single "Stupid Love," a brazen return to form that successfully launched Gaga into the second act of her career. There seems to have been a miscalculation, though: "Stupid Love" worked not because of its sound but because it took the core elements of Gaga's music—slightly nonsensical lyrics, acid-trip concept, a general struggle with vowels—and turned them up to 11.

Isn't the phrase a "failed Stupid Love" a little redundant?

No. At this point, Woman's World could only wish to debut in the top five and see a modicum of SL's chart run, streams, and sales. :ahh: The bar is in hell.

Dead give away they didn't listen to the song and are being unprofessional since the song doesn't sound anything like stupid love.

Maybe her team should've spent that check on good reviews instead of ATRL banners

this is so embarrassing for the forum. Giving promo a panned song produced by that guy

I thought Doja was contractually obligated to work with him since she's in his label, I could be all wrong.

As for Kim however, this is plainly inaccurate. Every Kim Petras working/talking about Dr. Luke thread is full of people dragging her.

one of many examples: https://atrl.net/forums/topic/421833-kim-petras-on-dr-luke-i-have-nothing-to-be-ashamed-of"-kesha-responds/page/16/

In what world are y'all living that Kim Petras didn't get lashings for working with him? Before Katy she was the one who would get the most lashings because of it, and she wasn't even that famous :deadbanana4:

They are literally describing the song in detail to a T. They clearly listened to it. The real question is, have YOU? :rip:

It's not being promoted on the site, don't worry. It links to Cher's song.

I actually find the chorus extremely catchy, but the video is a mess and the rest of the song just gives people sat around and threw buzz words into a blender.

:ducky:

knowing Dr. Luke is involved is just so :deadvision:

No, only on ATRL is Stupid Love considered anything other than an artistic triumph. This weird hivemind opinion does not extend beyond the bounds of this website.
