Miles. Posted July 11 Posted July 11 (edited) Netflix miniseries dropping September 5th. Rich people and murder, Nicole Kidman in her bag "I see you, *****." "THIS IS VINTAGE!" Edited July 11 by Miles.
Shelter Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I hope it's good. Nicole has fallen off for me, the projects she is doing are just not it. 1 1
fridayteenage Posted July 12 Posted July 12 elin hilderbrand is more cozy beach read than murder thriller, tbh
Hector Posted September 6 Posted September 6 This was a fun and soapy series, very Desperate Housewives meets Big Little Lies. I get why critics didn't love it, but I enjoyed it and how it didn't take itself fully seriously. Cast were very good as a whole. I will say though that: Spoiler Greer being a former escort is far more of a gaggy and shocking reveal than Abby killing Merritt. That kind of felt a little anti-climatic. Would have been more exciting had it been the housekeeper. Kidman played the high-strung and uptight Greer to a T.

I don't think Greer's background is explored at all originally. And Spoiler Abby did it so accidentally that she didn't even know it was her fault; only Greer figures it out and she keeps it to herself. 1

Scandalous Posted September 9 Posted September 9 yeah this was pretty good, definitely carried by the great cast otherwise just another cheap netflix mystery. dakota stole the show tho, get her in an oscary role immediately 1
Spicy_TyTy Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Finished this in one sitting. Dakota Fanning stole the show. Silly, soapy and camp. Nicole is churning out project after project and collecting cheques left right and center. I feel like she's bigger than she was in the early 2000s 3
ang Posted September 9 Posted September 9 on ep 4 and after several performances by jack reynor being so good at this type of character i am concerned it's his actual personality

ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted September 10 ATRL Moderator Posted September 10 pretty fun murder mystery! though I still don't get why it's called perfect couple based on who felt like the protagonist
Uncatena Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Btw I still have no clue what Spoiler Dakota's character motivation was??? Was it the same thing that Thomas said Isabel was doing? So, all about making sure they get the money soon?
shark_heather Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Just watched the first 2 episodes and i LOVE it I love how nice the story unravels
KylieistBoi Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Just based on the first episode this feels like a combination of Big Little Lies, The White Lotus, and The Night Manager. Very excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
