I thought Jesy was the bitter, nasty, jealous one?

Yeah it's sad but Jesy revealed her true colours with that whole mess. She threw her bandmates under the bus to suck up to Nicki, who hasn't even acknowledged Jesy since. She's had ample opportunity to reach out and apologise but hasn't done so.

At the end of the day, the only loser is her. They bought her out of the band, and she had barely any writing credits, so I doubt she's making much money off their catalogue, and she's probably not getting invited to the reunion tour. I hope that EP with her toy boy can pay her bills, otherwise she'll be on the next series of I'm a celeb or strictly.

I really hate how things ended up for LM :/

umm probably better than most girl groups...

Jesy is full of lies and used that poor girl image just to launch her poor career. And she used all that exposure of back talking the girls who has supported her throughout. She's sick. I would love to see a reunion of three girls, and by the way, the hits from the girls are basically from our three girls anyway.

they will take Jesy back when it's time. It's Leigh's decision and she will do it for the $

but i don't see Jesy ever being close with them again including Perrie

What communication could do to this world if people were not full of ****. And I'm talking for each one of them. Nobody died at stonewalls.

Well, Jesy has all the talent in that group. They're all jealous of her new found success, and they don't know what to do. Perrie, being the biggest flop of the group, has no leg to stand on when it comes to talent and career. She's bitter and angry.

Well then why doesn't she pick up the phone to Jesy instead of telling a magazine?

She is probably blocked :coffee:

I'm not surprised, Jesy seems high maintenance

Is that new found success in the room with us?

It's a complex situation because while I empathize with the way Jesy was treated and the struggles she faced with people constantly attacking her, I feel like the girls of LM always had her back and supported her and tried to uplift her. And yet she found herself always comparing herself to them and used that jealousy to justify blocking them and completely distancing herself from one of her support groups. Aka maybe doing more harm to her mental health in the long run despite leaving to better said health. Idk.

Jesy will rejoin the group eventually, especially as none of the girls solo careers are going anywhere. The other 3 girls are soft hearted, and even Leigh Anne who had the worst bad blood with Jesy, she is too nice I don't see a situation where they don't mend the bridge 4/5 years down the line. This kind of personal drama and feelings being hurt always dies eventually

Yeah I think if Jesy ever did decide she wanted to rekindle her friendship with the other girls and showed more emotional maturity they would be accepting and things could be squashed pretty quickly.

I don't think Jesy truly thinks she did anything wrong though / probably feels too nervous to go back on herself even if she does feel regret.

Unrelated but Jesy is sitting on some really good unreleased music, definitely better than anything that's been put out so far (jade not included)

Her career could've been insane, not sure what she's got to do to get some public support back, maybe after like a decade we'll see a reunion once all the girls need some extra cash :giraffe:

This.

And the reality is that they all stand to make more coin from a reunion featuring all four members.

They closed out the Confetti era and the group's run well as a three, but a reunion down the line will lean heavily on nostalgia. So packs more of a punch with all four members and any promoter will echo that sentiment.

It doesn't feel like any of them are poised for huge solo success, either (though Leigh's My Love remains iconic, Perrie's Forget About Us was actually solid, and Jade's output seems promising).

So, without a "Cheryl"-like breakout solo star, a reunion would most likely be optimally attractive to promoters as a four-piece.

That said, I can see a scenario similar to Take That and Robbie's return. Maybe Jesy returning for one tour / album as somewhat of a "one and done, but the door's always open" vibe For the simple fact that it will never truly, genuinely, authentically be the "same" given all that's gone on. And harsh as it sounds, many of these "complete lineup" reunions are moreso for the check (not because they need it, but moreso the allure of it).

I can also see us being surprised down the line and it being a different member not wanting back in long-term/full-time and thus it being different configurations of the group. Just like how Take That has worked as a five, four, and three-piece band. They're all vocally competent enough (with different configurations) to replicate the magic of each other's parts.

We'll see.

we got the superior trio-constellation which should've been LM from the get-go and Jesy had shown her true colors. A win-win situation if you ask me
