New York Times: Biden campaign now surveying voters for Kamala vs. Trump

The pessimist in me is PerchedT to see the leftist revival of the "but she's a cop!" narrative, and right-wing claims of "DEI." I'm voting blue no matter who the candidate is, but can't wait for this primary to end.

People dislike Kamala even more than they fear Joe's senility

Well recent polling shows her beating Trump while Biden is losing to Trump. I understand these polls are still hypothetical since the GOP machine is focusing on Biden, but she would probably dog walk Trump in a debate.

I'm not the biggest fan of Kamala and there are a bunch of people I would rather take Biden's place, but I would rather have her up there than Biden

Trump won't step down for the good of the American people either :cm:

This is striking at one of Biden's core problems.  To win, Democrats need to position themselves as a better alternative and offer hope in these otherwise depressing times.  The more Biden is the same as Trump, the less he can be positioned as an alternative.

I'm ok with Kamala replacing Biden. She will eat Trump alive at the upcoming debates.

Who's gonna tell him?

Just make Kamala run. The alternative is either trump vs Biden. Kamala might not be anyone first choice but she will clap back quick at the debate stage against trump. And Kamala vs trump is way more  promising than having an old man with Alzheimer's run for office.

We need kamala and Woman's World as the campaign theme song please :gaycat2:

I am going to be honest. I personally think this isn't even news. Both major political parties are likely always polling and keeping track of various key candidates all the time.

But if this truly is a sign of plans to make a swap I am mixed. I've seen the numbers. But numbers aside I see so many pros and cons I'm not sure right not which is better and which is worse. If nothing else at least she can react and speak faster ig. Dems are certainly going to run into racism, sexism, and her being plain unlikable to many though. Oddly enough due to polarization we are somehow worse now than Obama era. I guess we will see

I could see it

With each passing day they wait to replace Biden as the nominee they lessen their chances of beating Trump. Just get it over with already.

Yeah Biden needs to go, there's no chance he's winning.

He would be winning, he's the only one who can beat Trump without a problem, like last time.

Kamala is so worthy for the role but she's not liked by Americans

Biden is not beating Trump let's be honest :deadbanana4: I'm not saying Kamala should run instead of him, but Biden shouldn't be an option anymore, they need to pick someone else.
