Popular Post wastedpotential Posted July 11 Popular Post Posted July 11 nnn not y'all already finding reasons to be mad about this Call it "white worship" (which removes any agency from people who just happen to... like her music but whatever), but the demand is absolutely there for a venue like this. Taylor could do 10+ show residencies and generate hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenue, let alone other concerts from big acts there like Coldplay and Kpop groups and then also literal sporting events, which would make the one stadium in a country of over 100 million people a successful venture Stadiums are a wise investment, and it's good to see the Philippines choosing to make it. 11 4 1 1

BrokenMachine Posted July 11 Posted July 11 10 minutes ago, iiswhoiis_max said: Am I the only one thinking this is messed up and not cool in any kind of way? Lul Yeah, like doing all of that just for a few concerts from Taylor? Their return of investment is gonna be on the pits in the long run 1
Popular Post byzantium Posted July 11 Popular Post Posted July 11 I see OTHs are malfunctioning because they cannot handle the cognitive dissonance of Taylor having global impact and legacy. 13 6

That's just a standard of readiness and scale, not the entire purpose of the venue 12

Their return of investment is gonna be on the pits in the long run The project is titled after Taylor's coming because she's the biggest artist there by a huge margin, but do you really think that they're building a stadium only for her to come? This will make it more appealing to hold international events in the country and bring in more business. Let's use our brains 9
