NO POINT. they were literally trying to imitate the DISCO era release strategy. with bonus tracks and collab tracks The only feasible point of the re-issue is the album going Gold like the other BMG ones.
Dante Silva Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Isn't the repack up on various retail sites as having an Fri Aug 23rd release date? Given that we now know EOSN is released on Wed 14th Aug it would be weird if that only ended up on The Blessed Madonna Album just nine days prior to the apparent release of Kylie's "Tension" repack!
Club classic Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I finally saw her live yesterdaaaaay OMG It was so good! the way I was the only one around me who knew the Tension songs but she was spectecular, everybody needs to hear Confide In Me live once 2

Crashed Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Do you think she might be teasing an announcement with this tweet or am I reading too much into the "there's things to do" part?

I was genuinely in shock during the Vegas show 3
PaloSanto Posted August 13 Posted August 13 if EOASN is on the album then tmw is an ideal date to announce the reissue when the song comes out
xokuba Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) Well, the song is out and special edition isn't announced, what now? Edited August 14 by xokuba
Abracadabra Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I wonder if the Joel Corry track has been held for KM17
xluvxduffxmusicx Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Hopefully scrapped. It was pointless to try to do another special edition for an album that was abandoned release week, especially nearly a year later. Tension (the song and album) deserved so much better.
Popboi. Posted August 19 Author Posted August 19 So um, maybe it's time to cancel the preorders until something is announced cause...
rta1913 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 well the link is still up lmao I mean those preorders never came from Kylie, just some online retailers, maybe they were just stocking the deluxe CD? I still believe we may get a deluxe/complete edition. "Drum" and "Heavenly Body" were released already as limited bonus so they can just release them widely. MOM does not feel like a new era, just a cute bop and it gives me very "lead of rerelease" so I bet we will have at least these 3 added. Add "Running", the other song she teased at Hyde Park and you have already 5 "new" bonus tracks, tack on EOSN since it's pretty much her song (leave "Dance Alone" and "Midnight Ride" out) if we want more content. I also believe they won't do much "promo" or a big deal out of the reissue as they'll probably focus on a new album next year. Just one last milk/cash grab and move on potentially by the album aniversary date? The Disco Guest Edition came out one year after the original DISCO. Maybe announcement next week for a 9/20 or 9/27 release?
