For some background info:

On 26 June 2024, Brooke Schofield, co-host of the Cancelled podcast with Tana Mongeau, alleged in 13-part TikTok series that Kane was an "extreme pathological liar" during their three-month relationship in 2021. Among a list of other allegations, Schofield alleged that Kane lied about the deaths of his mother and brother, of which were the subject of the lyrical themes in many songs in his discography. Schofield also alleged that Kane was never born in Australia, but is in fact from Brunei, and provided audio of him speaking privately with Schofield, notably with his Australian accent being missing. The TikTok series garnered over 50 million views in its first 24 hours.

 

Zach specific stuff starts around 1 hour and 17 mins. His interviews are always creepy. I am glad he is being exposed.

Didn't watch this but Zach has really fallen off in recent years. Sad bc I used to like his old interviews and his "candid" questions about the music & industry topics.

 

The last interview of his I watched was for Eternal Sunshine and he was acting a bit creepy and talking wayyy too much about his own sex life when nobody asked for it. Even Ariana looked visibly confused at some of the BS he was saying. I've also heard similar things about his interview with Troye.
