Exactly lmao. Like Party in the USA, Wrecking Ball, and Flowers are legit crossover SMASHAS. Then she has tons of other big hits to work in as well. And like you said, she can always access Dolly / Jolene, Joan Jett, Metallica, etc. Hell even Billy Ray's Achey Breaky if they are on good terms.

Anyone acting like Miley doesn't have enough hits is out of their mind. Gaga (one of the best halftimes) did 7 numbers (technically 8 but the first 2 were shortened and conjoined)

 

Of those 7, 1 was literally just a patriotic American song, and 1 was Million Reasons which wasn't really a hit yet. So she performed 5 hits basically.

 

Miley has:

- Flowers

- Wrecking Ball

- Party in the USA 

- We Can't Stop

- The Climb

 

As 5 certified smash hits (and they're all solo). She then has:

- See You Again, Angels Like You, Midnight Sky, Malibu, Can't Be Tamed as mild hits

- Literally any Hannah Montana song which would function as a hit

- Either Jolene or Heart of Glass, as her covers of those have become basically mild hits, especially Jolene which she has basically taken as the torch holder for that song 

- Any guest spot she wanted, with plenty that would make sense and make the GP go crazy (Dolly, Blondie, Stevie Nicks, any rock band, Selena/Demi/Ariana, etc)

- Or just use the attention to use a spot to launch a new song like Gaga did with Million Reasons

Honestly I feel like Miley needs another successful era to do the SB. Endless Summer Vacation was probably her best album to date, but Flowers was the only song that was a hit. It's the first time she's had a major hit since Wrecking Ball... 10 years prior.

 

The cultural impact Miley's had from Hannah Montana and Bangerz definitely makes her worthy of doing a Super Bowl, but I'm not sure now is the right time.

The climb is iconic as well. We cant stop, midnights, her collab with Mark Ronson. She has tons of hits
