PatrickGray.12 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) Quote Halle Berry, Glenn Close Join Ryan Murphy's Hulu Legal Drama By Joe Otterson Halle Berry and Glenn Close are set to star alongside Kim Kardashian in an upcoming Hulu legal drama that hails from Ryan Murphy, Variety has learned. The series was first announced in December 2023 and is currently titled "All's Fair." As reported at that time, the series will focus on an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Exact details for Berry and Close's characters are being kept under wraps. Both women will also serve as executive producers on "All's Fair," as will Kardashian. Close will produce under her Trillium Productions banner. The role marks a return to television legal dramas for Close, who famously starred in the FX series "Damages" as notorious lawyer Patty Hewes. Close earned two of her three Emmy Awards as well as a Golden Globe for her work on the show. Close is a 14-time Emmy nominee and won her other statuette for the TV movie "Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story." She has also won Golden Globes for starring in the films "The Lion in Winter" and "The Wife." In film, Close is an eight-time Oscar nominee, including nods for "The World According to Garp" (in her film debut), "The Big Chill," "Dangerous Liaisons," and "Fatal Attraction." She is repped by CAA, MGMT Entertainment, Loeb & Loeb. This will be one of the only regular television roles Berry has had her in career. Most recently, she starred in the CBS series "Extant," which counted Steven Spielberg among its executive producers. She won the Academy Award for best actress for her role in "Monster's Ball," making her the first woman of color to win the award. She also won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for starring in the TV movie "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge." Berry has also received Emmy nominations for "Lackawanna Blues" and "Their Eyes Were Watching God." Her other notable film roles include the "X-Men" franchise, "Jungle Fever," "Die Another Day," "Things We Lost in the Fire," and "The Call." She is repped by WME, Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, The Lede Company, and Range Media Partners. Murphy serves as writer, director, and executive producer on "All's Fair," the first series to be announced under his new overall deal with Disney following the end of his Netflix deal. Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, and Richard Levine also serve as writers and executive producers. As previously mentioned, Kardashian, Berry, and Close are all executive producers along with Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Holly Jeter. 20th Television will produce in association with Ryan Murphy Television. FENTY. Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I remember watching Kardashians a while ago and them talking about Kim being finally eligible for Walk of Fame star if she gets nominated for a big award. I wouldn't be surprised if she's only doing these series to get an Emmy nomination or something lol 2
