I can't pretend like I understand How did it end? These lyrics are so powerful and emotional to me. They capture the intense feeling of loss and confusion so well. There's such a haunting touch when she sings this bridge, especially because of how innocent and sweet the last line is supposed to be. Ugh, this brings me back to one sorrowful memory. The sound of the last breath of my grandpa still haunts me so much, all those years later. It's the worst sound I've ever heard in my life. The I hate it here 2nd verse, it perfectly capture the way how nostalgia take over us. Or I look through people`s window chorus.
