Taylor Swift - "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart"

Yeah radio updates are brilliant. Streams are healthy, but needs to increase more. it actually looks like streams are more global than US-centric for now, so I hope the US wakes up and gives this more attention.

This is such an earworm and deserves to be up there with her catchy pop hits like Trouble, You Belong with Me, Style, Blank Space, Anti-Hero and Cruel Summer.

We need CD singles + remixes when it's near peaking radio. :jonnycat:

A number 1 is possible.

Exactly. If she releases cd singles and remixes the week it peaks on radio with an audience of like 60 million or something then it could go #1 for a week and become her 13th #1

Yeah im loving this scenario. Fingers crossed. She has the fan base to get her that coveted number 1 position.

It's complete filler.  Like this is the best you can do being the biggest artist in the world with the biggest album of the year, and this is your 2nd single? lol

Feels like international radio has kinda dropped Her this era... anytime I turn on the radio a Sabrina song is playing

You'd have a point if this was one of the generic MPGs who struggle for relevancy and rely on a big hit single to keep an era going, but that's not how it is for Taylor. Eras Tour has her fans listening to her prolific catalog daily. If Swifties were only listening to the current album that was supported by a tour dedicated solely to that album, there'd be many, many more number ones from TTPD.

How is this doing on streaming so far lavender haze is kinda her sister. Hope she releases a music video, remixes,cd singles when it peaks on radio then she has a chance at a 13th number 1.

When I listened to the album from start to finish, this was by far the most memorable track on it (at least for me).  So I find it quite exciting that it went on to be picked as the second single.

I'm not always a fan of her work (and definitely not a stan), but I do believe in this song and am excited at the prospect of it receiving a video.

She is one of very few artists (who as a music fan) you never have to worry about under representing her music with a low budget video, so I'm looking forward to this single campaign reaching full momentum.

I'd really love a full on old skool 12" extended mix (opposed to a package of mini reworks) and feel this is one of very few singles in her catalogue suited to that format but it's not something she's known for so I won't hold my breath.

Seems like it was put together very last minute ngl, such a shame because I like the song + love seeing behind the scenes

It's not my favorite song but I enjoyed watching the video. You can see she really loves touring.

oh the era is over. this will do nothing for the song commercially and releasing a touring video for a second single... delirium teas. i mean i kinda get it, because she's singing about how she can do all this with a broken heart, but it still feels so god damn lazy and like they didn't even try.

More than a lot of MPG's lead single with a real music video's 24 hour view count :deadbanana4:
