HDD: Taylor #1, Megan #3, Camila #11

Camila's debut is not shocking but the fact that some of her fans think this is a good number when she's clearly flopping :rip: . Not a completely disaster like Nornami but still not a good sign at all.

Not bad for Camila her last album had Bam Bam and Don't Go Yet was a moderate hit too. I didn't expect her to do more than Familia tbh.

you're ignoring the point and being obtuse, but taylor would be #1 even with zero sales so

Why are you gracing every HDD threads and hot100 threads your pristine predictions, when this is how worthless your predictions and comments are?

With this 11th week locked, TTPD will tie Whitney's record for most consecutive weeks at #1 from debut among all albums by women.  It doesn't seem super likely that she'll pull out all the stops to block Zach Bryan and Eminem in the next few weeks, but it's clear that if she simply chose to, she could almost certainly tie or beat the record for most consecutive weeks at #1 by any album by a woman, from debut or otherwise, which is held right now by Carole King's Tapestry at 15 weeks.

If Camila manages to get a hit out of this album (lets see if Hot Uptown will do anything) then she could maybe peak a little higher later if she releases like a deluxe aligned with when Hot Uptown peaks.

Yikes. Imagine the amount of money sunk into a Playboi Carti, Lil' Nas X and Drake collab for this rate of return.

She confirmed in her Billboard interview the Drake collab was non-transactional (i.e., free), Nas is her friend in real life so it's unlikely he charged her anything.. her label invested nothing in securing those collabs, she earned them on her own merit lol. Interscope is lucky she was even able to bag an A-lister like Drake just because he likes her/her music. If anything, they benefited from her own networking skills. The only unfortunate thing was the Drake-Kendrick beef which was obviously out of her control and ruined their plans to push that collab as the main single. It is what it is.

She can't beat Eminem who is a monster in sales and streams. He could do 200k in pure sales and another 100k in streams and I don't see how Taylor could block him by going from 116k to 300k suddenly.
