No it didn't. It's been picking up for months now. It's summer, Watermelon Sugar and Adore You are also picking up. Keep Driving is randomly picking up as well, and it wasn't a single nor pushed in any way.

Exactly. This song went from under 2M streams to almost 3.5M essentially over night. No one is questioning its mega smash status, but these recent streaming numbers are fishy at best

The song is not being autoplayed (no reports on this whatsoever). It doesn't have more playlisting. It didn't rise 1.5 million+ out of nowhere either, but it took it 2.5 months to rise 1.4 million and it did so slowly over the weeks, sometimes going back down a bit.

 

There's nothing fishy about a huge summer hit organically rising when the summer starts. Harry's monthly listeners aren't oddly concentrated in fishy cities either (Sao Paulo, Jakarta, Mexico City, London, and Sydney, this has been historically in his top 5, coming and going with New York, LA, Chicago, and some European cities when he was touring there).

 

He goes down over the weekends, particularly on Sundays, and rises again on Mondays, which is the way organic songs work on Spotify charts. Also, this rise is on Spotify charts, not on the counter, if there was bot activity then it it'd be filtered.

 

The only "fishy" thing about it is that you don't like that it's rising, organically. You have literally nothing to claim that it's botted in any way.
