This live album is a great reminder of how many good songs she has.

She was the subject of a kidnap plot and subsequently retrained as a nurse or something; took a long time off.

I've always loved Joss and I'm glad to see her still doing things on her own terms, touring, and releasing. I'm sad it's only 13 tracks! She's like a female Jason Mraz to me - their live performances are so good, the live tracks become part of the main body of work. Every performance something different.

Where did you get the second part from? She never stopped making music and touring. She just isnt recording under a major label anymore, since 2010 I think. She did a world tour a few years back, where she played in almost every country on the planet. It took her about 6 or 7 years, so manybe thats the impression she took a long time off.

I specifically remember her on This Morning talking about how she had to find herself after the ordeal. I guess the time off I'm thinking of was when she was working as a nurse?

She was never working as a nurse. In some interview she said that if she wasnt a singer she would be a midwife, but she never worked as one. And not as a nurse as well. I follow her career from 2004 and I'm very sure of that. What do you mean by the ordeal? The murder plot from 2011? She released two albums in 2011, one album in 2012, and her big world tour started in 2013 and lasted till 2019. She released more albums in 2015, 2017 and in 2022. Shes touring all the time.
