Break My Soul, sweetie...

It's still funny how they tried to push Hold My Hand so hard only for the GP to ignore it and choose the One Republic song instead

Mess. I was coming to vote for BMS but I guess it's HMH. Ballads really have the best longevity at the end.

Quality wise- BMS>HMH>>>Lift Me Up

Break My Soul is the only good song. Lift Me Up and Hold My Hand are the mcdonalds of rihanna and gaga ballads.

people saying "Lift Me Up" is more forgotten than "Hold MY Hand" :rip:

A #1 hit in Switzerland, a top 10 radio hit and year end top 50 airplay hit and #2 debut - delulu

Don't speak on Switzerland until you have the facts:

#5 Hold My Hand (31 weeks)

#1 Lift Me Up (26 weeks)

YEC
#39 Hold My Hand
#80 / #90 Lift Me Up

Hand had the longevity there 💋

Break My Soul was still bigger, it streams may be the pits now but it was a #1, and had its (short lived) moment in the conscious of the GP. I don't think the same can be said about Hold My Hand, Its streams are fan driven.

IMO Break My Soul > Lift Me Up > Hold My Hand. Only because I didn't watch Top Gun, and I don't think I can recall what the song sounds like, I'm sure if I handn't seen Black Panther LMU would've been a similar case.

EDIT: Pardon my messy redaction

Y'all literally arguing over songs doing thousands of streams better. Every now and then the kiddos have to remind us how insufferable they are god I'm glad Gaga flopped to irrelevance I forgot how annoying y'all could be :deadbanana4:

I love all these girls down and think none of them are well represented by these songs but BMS having fewer streams daily AND overall than these two random soundtrack songs is so….:deadbanana2:

The only reason they are using Youtube is because it's the only way Gaga would win.

Spotify numbers only

BMS - 446M

LMU - 381M

HMH - 318M

Spotify playlist peak -

88m for Hold My Hand (#36 on TTH)
200m+ for BMS and LMU (both #1 on TTH)

billboard hot 100 peak

#1 BREAK MY SOUL

#2 Lift Me Up
#49 Hold My Hand

Anyways this was a harmless poll.
Although, I have no idea why Break My Soul isn't landsliding the 'most forgotten' option when its pride month, it has the most playlisting, Bey just released an album, and it had the best chart success in the anglosphere with top 3s everywhere. Despite this, it's doing the least streams by a large margin.

Dance over ? :siptea:

BMS literally sold the most and had more radio play than the other two. It doesn't matter if it was the lead single and more playlisting....we don't even know Apple Music numbers but we know  she been way stronger there than Spotify.

Let's also consider both LMU and HMH have music videos so of course their YouTube numbers are gonna be higher :rip:

Yall always wanna use Spotify as the end all be all but we know that's NEVER the case.

Lastly it was never a Pride staple...the music has and always been Black people taking back the genres they made. Also gays have a tendency to not make anything younger than 10 years a gay staple hench why Rush and Padam Padams streams are also in the pits despite being the it songs for Pride last year.

What a kii that Hold My Hand is out-streaming Break My Soul and Lift Me Up. I don't think anyone would have guessed that in the Fall of 2022 :deadbanana4:

Maverick is one of the most popular/successful films of the decade.

BMS will live on in prides at least.

Or simply because Youtube still is a streaming platform with its own specific music streaming service with also people paying for it, they're still streams.

Whoever has the most daily streams is least forgotten (I assume that's BMS)
