BraveNewSeth Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Yes omg, I'm really bad with this. I've also done this with vacations I was supposed to go on as well
lillavend3r Posted June 29 Posted June 29 My friend gifted me a Dua Lipa ticket two years ago and I didn't go
sweetblindness Posted June 29 Posted June 29 No. I only buy advance concert tickets for bands/musicians I REALLY love so I'm always counting down the days to the show. For musicians/artists I would maaaaybe like to see but I'm not overly excited about, I usually just hold off on buying tickets to see how I'm feeling the week/day of the concert and then buy them on StubHub if I want to go.
discosean Posted June 29 Posted June 29 No. If I really want to go to a show and spend the money on the tickets, I will do everything I can to go.
Dragonfly Posted June 29 Posted June 29 a friend did that to me three times we're not friends anymore
Breakdown Posted July 2 Posted July 2 (edited) Last year was really not my year, I mean no year is but that's a different topic. So basically I had a ticket to Tove Lo last year but I was so depressed I decided not to go last minute. I was also scared of not fitting in with the flamboyant gay audience. I mean I don't even know if that's the case at her shows but it's just something I thought would happen. And combined with just feeling really sad and lovesick, I just said **** it. Which is very stupid, considering I'm not financially well off. But well I also went to vacation last year and just stayed in bed the entire time except when getting food, while I waited years to be able to go to the beach again. But I was just so sad, yeah. Very dumb. Edited July 11 by Breakdown
ONOPKA Posted July 3 Posted July 3 it's not something i would do if i was really sick then sure, but generally no. if i have the ticket, then i am going!
Mochilover Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Yes I've done that. Usually it's because I've bought the tickets months in advance and don't feel the excitement that I initially did when purchasing. Now I buy them closer to the date.

Very dumb. Awe I wanna hug you but I feel you...mood slumps can be a mess. In November I traveled to a city like 4 hours away to see Charlotte Cardin but day of I decided I felt gross and spent the whole night in my hotel room's hot tub sulking 1
JennyWayne Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I usually have this whenever I planned to go out with friends
Vignesh Posted July 11 Posted July 11 This has happened to me a couple of times, especially if it's been a long week and I just know I'm going to be tired af going to a concert after work. But despite that, I still drag myself to it, get together with friends either at the venue itself or some other predetermined location and always end up having a good time. 1
