But she didnt stick with that tho.

She is at best with songs like My Oh My oh sth.. but she still flops.

Havana, Senorita, Bam Bam, South of the Border

It's pretty clear what people expect from her

Agreed with everything they said. She's really a joke.

I actually believe the Latina-pop shtick was forced on her after Crying In The Club/I Have Questions flopped and her heart was never really in it. She always seemed more of the singer-songwriter type of artist with some occassional bad b***h bops.

But it was easier to market her with the Latina image/sound since that spot was wide open for an US girlie.

Well, they did not lie. This entire era has been copy pasting Charli / Rosalia. One of the performances was literally a Walmart version of SAOKO's Motomami performance. She even recruited El Guincho to produce songs for her. :deadbanana2: And I'm not going to lie, the few songs that I've heard were interesting sonically, but she's just....not that girl. Everything is so forced and inauthentic. Sad that these productions were wasted on someone like her.

Her debut is her best and it feels more authentic than this new image

her latin shtick was def forced. latin music was huge back then and as a try hard, faceless payola "pop girl" she just hopped on the latin music trend

I feel bad for her but we can't say this is undeserved.  I Luv It, He Knows, and Chanel No 5 are all awful.

Camila and Romance were actually solid albums, hopefully she goes back to that sound.
