ngl a Taylor version with a new second verse (the gun/shoot myself lyrics of the original while vulnerable and perfect would never work as a mainstream song) depicting how Taylor also envies elements of Charli's life/career (perhaps not being so publicly scrutinised for her dating history/feeling more free to experiment with different sounds/the immense critical acclaim BRAT has received that no Taylor album has etc.) culminating in how her and Matty "broke up quick" would lowkey maybe highkey be a gag.

Hmmm I don't think she would work in a SIAK remix. She'd probably have to go for the same route Lorde took: I also felt insecure when we saw each other because you look so cool/let's work it out on the remix/some reference to touring together some years ago/I ride for you Charli.

 

It wouldn't feel nearly as genuine because she received backlash for blocking Charli on the UK and there would be articles pointing how it's just a PR move like the ones she got for putting Ice Spice on the Karma remix after dating Matty Healy.

I want Sky on the remix of this song. I don't think having Taylor would work on it like it did with the Lorde remix. It would sound very forced.

If Taylor would stop herself from doing something out of fear of someone calling it PR, she wouldn't even leave her house. And then even staying in people would say it's PR.
