The US star recently wrapped up a run of shows across the US and Canada before embarking on the current UK and European leg. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, she wrote: "The first U.S. leg of the ['Pink Friday 2 World Tour'] was SO SUCCESSFUL, I was offered a second leg beginning in SEPTEMBER. Sign up now, and [tickets] will go on sale in a few more days." The Barbie World singer will begin phase 2 of her North American tour in Philadelphia ahead of concerts in Pittsburgh, New York, Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and other cities. The tour is scheduled to wrap up in Queens on October 11. Tickets became available to the general public on May 31 but sales have been slower compared to the successful first phase, with thousands of seats still available. In April, it was announced that the Pink Friday 2 World Tour broke records as the highest-grossing rap tour by a woman and placed in the top 10 highest-grossing rap tours overall. Minaj hopped on Instagram to share her gratitude for her dedicated fans "I never in my wildest dreams woulda thought that this tour—I mean, I did keep saying it's gonna be this it's gonna be that, but let me tell you something, the other component I didn't factor in was you guys. Your energy." It comes after the singer stopped her Manchester gig 30 minutes before she was due on stage after being held by Dutch police. Minaj live-streamed her own arrest while at Amsterdam Airport after being accused of "carrying drugs" with her on the plane - something the singer has denied. She accused the employees of forcing her to send her bags through security a second time. Capturing the incident, Minaj was then told she needed to go to the police station where she spent hours under investigation. She later messaged fans on X (previously Twitter) to apologise. The US star wrote: "Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination."I'm at the stock exchange hotel in Manchester I arrived a little over an hour ago. "After sitting in a jail cell for 5-6 hours, my plane still didn't take off for another 20 mins once I boarded." I fear they might be onto something Edited June 21 by KOMH 6 2
KatyPrismSpirit Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Imagine trying to drag the PF2 tour when it's the most successful female rap tour of all time and broke so many records 8 7 1
Popular Post Legend ReX Posted June 21 Popular Post Posted June 21 (edited) To be fair, Kenneth is probably with her, so no one under 18 is allowed within 1000 feet of the venue . . . Edited June 21 by Legend ReX 34
cat1867 Posted June 21 Posted June 21 a tour doesn't need to sell out every ticket to be successful. anyway, promoters exist for a reason. they more than artists eat the costs of a flopped tour.
Catch Me Posted June 21 Posted June 21 The same type of articles were published for the 1st leg. 70% of the tickets are sold out for the 2nd leg, tickets haven't even been on sale for a month yet.
Princess Aurora Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Didn't people on Stan Twitter predict this a few months ago?

This joke is so played out. You're not funny or original. OT: You know you're desperate for a drag when you're posting The Sun. The tour is objectively doing great all things considered. 8 4
Bewitched Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I meant I don't like her but from what I've seen the tour is doing well?
Erotic Posted June 21 Posted June 21 We can drag Nicki for her unapologetic support and enabling towards sexual abuse; but we simply cannot drag the success of this tour. 4 1

Pikachoo Posted August 25 Posted August 25 (edited) finally someone gets it right: Nicki is a POP star. she is not a rapper. she is not hip hop. she is pop. the way people are claiming it the most successful female rap tour when Nicki is going on stage dancing her bbl to "everybody move your feet and be united!" , "girls just wanted to have fun" "shes a super freak" among other 80s samples. then segueing into Super Bass (which is only remembered because of Esther Deans hook) and Starships, then ending with The Night Is Still Young (a bop). "queen of rap" my ass. at least embrace your inner pop star miss petty. but go on, keep calling your tour the biggest female rap tour ever while you sing im a barbie girl! Meanwhile, the true queen, Miss Lil Kim doing the damn thing at sold out HIP HOP concerts. only spitting bars. no need to song flat C5s Edited August 25 by Pikachoo 4 3
