Reflektor Posted June 21 Posted June 21 The purest essence of the indie dance rock of the 2000's I was obsessed with -- it may verge on parody but as long as I'm moving I'm here for it.
atrlxcx Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Cannot waitt, don't know why he didn't add on Sex if he ha/ the other songs from the EP (except the instrumental one) Saw him live a couple weeks ago and all the songs hit live

Ulysses Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Elevation is such a sweet moment of the album, might be my favorite so far. the MGMT + LCD Soundsystem lovechild
Hex Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I'm excited to listen! Love Perfume. Hope this doesn't lean too heavy into LCD Soundsystem imitation tho

Augmented Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Oh wow I really enjoyed this! Think I liked the back half of the album more but overall really fun
truthteller Posted September 6 Posted September 6 that late 2000s trashy club bangers with a twist of foreign indie sleaze... the beats and production are so neat and sharp...
Hex Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Definitely a HUGE LCD Soundsystem influence here and it does verge on pastiche at times but if it bangs, it bangs
Pendulum Posted September 6 Posted September 6 OH HE ******* DEVOURED ????? OPEN UP HAD ME IN SHAMBLES I need him religiously too
Chemist Posted September 6 Posted September 6 it seems like he just wants to copy early 00's indie bands. Nice bops but nothing memorable A.G. Cook remains Charli's best producer (by far)
BeachRat Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I Destroyed Disco is like SOPHIE had a child with Tiga
Jukebox Posted September 7 Posted September 7 All Night is a SMASH. It's giving 2008 UK #43 indie hit song, NME track of the week etc. etc. The whole album bops, a surprise one for me. I love Elevation too, it's beautiful.
