The way she delivers her verse is straight to the point, yet so striking. Aside from this version in general obviously being incredible, the Brat album cycle as a whole is a masterclass on knowing what resonates with your audience. So many girlies try the I'm gonna give the gays EVERYTHING they want/Serving c*nt period slay wig whatever and it just feels forced + they never end up actually delivering. Charli struck the perfect balance between staying true to herself AND going above and beyond to give material her fanbase actually wants.
