Yes, and they should engage in vandalism. When throughout history have people successfully achieved their goals solely through peaceful, law-abiding protests?  I'm not saying they shouldn't protest but doing unlawful acts can get you in legal trouble and their filming themselves doing it so it's not like they can claim they didn't if they're charged of vandalism (not sire what charges they can get but I'm sure it may be more than it's worth)
