Jessie Ware & Romy - "Lift You Up"

Romy is a boring vocalist ngl. LMU is so good tho

However, Ride My Love is one of my favorite Jessie tracks. It's so sexy and the outro -- she was insane for it

Is that the video snippet from NYC Downlow? That's giving 10/10.

Comments about it being Pearls 2.0 and sounding like Jesse Glyn song made me not want to listen to it at all :rip:

Loving Lift You Up and the other track.

What happened to whatever she did with Jungle and Joy Anonymous?

I wonder if she is going to do an EP or release quite a few tracks before the album, maybe collabs. I can't see the album coming out until 2025.

Even tho it's a little generic, I think because she is a VOCALIST she really sells it. She sounds so good and Romy's harmonies are great.

Unfortunately "Lift Me Up" is kinda disappointment for me.

It would be OK album filler but as a single not so much.

Somehow I have problem to connect with Romy. Her vocals and delivery is very subtle and lifeless for me. Production vise the song doesnt bring anything new.

I prefer the last minute when there are more harmonies but either way the song is kinda basic.

From the snippet I prefer "Ride My Love" .

In general it seems Jessie is going into more "house diva" era

Their voices don't go well together and this is the first time it feels like Jessie is straining on a song (I'm a Pearls enjoyer)

finally listening and this is GORGEOUS :jonny5: it's giving 90s house classic, more modern sounding than her previous two albums somehow, but every bit as fabulous as anything on either

I'd guess so.

Ride My Love sounds epic.  Unusual for her to perform another new song unless the album is coming sooner than we think.
