true I would really love this tbh :jonny2: I See You was stunning and always calmed me down to listen to

I'm very excited for Jamie's new album, though I admit I still have never listened to his first one whoooops

I See You was released 7 years ago... that's way too long

I'm happy Jamie, Romy and Oliver are doing their things solo but enough is enough, a need album from the band is needed

Omg this (day late) birthday present for me, inshallah!

I'm seeing her next month at Pitchfork fest, thank goodness she's releasing new music in time.

Some are WYP?/PP-leaning, some T!FG!-leaning, and many are that newer, harder direction, yes. It's its own world for sure but overall it's a good mix of everything and is a satisfying conclusion to the "trio" she's mentioned.

Idk which will make the album, tho some (like this one) were obviously gonna make it. I hope we have the album before end of year :jonnycat:

Exciting!! Hoping for darker vibes tracks like Eyes Closed and her unreleased track Feel U More :jonny:

I'm here for Romy having a fully realised mainstream moment in her own right, but for the love of god can we get XX4 at some point soon. I've enjoyed all their individual outputs but my god I miss them as a collaborative.

Can't say I love that, I was hoping she'd be leaning more towards soul with her future sound rather than dipping fully into euro club dance pop. It's becoming reductive slowly

She said she'll come back to Devotion roots soon. So I'm fine with that. lol

Oh wow is this the lead for JW6? Hoping it is in the "harder dance/ club" direction she alluded to previously

If its a lead from JW6 hopefully they wont follow strategy of TFG! cause we get new album next May Game Show Laughing GIF by ABC Network

I'm so ready! :jonny6:

Also, I'm perfectly fine with Jessie staying in the dance music lane, and the xx doing their solo proyects. Devotion was incredible but Tough Love and Glasshouse were just good (that Ed Sheeran collab :rip:). As for the xx... I See You didn't match the magic of their debut and Coexist for me. I liked Romy's Mid Air way more.

OMG I was expecting TFG extras but if this is the lead for the next album I'll be pumped :duca: Loved Romy's album last year too, so this is a match made in heaven for me.

I'd kinda prefer she stay with gay disco bops for the rest of her career ngl nhsdihsidhsiohd but I've always loved disco music. I'd take another Devotion/some songs from Tough Love album but leave the adult contemporary leanings of Glasshouse (even though the album is way underrated) & the other half of TL in your past, thanks xo

I wouldn't mind 10 songs if they would be high quality and we wouldn't wait 10 months for them.

(Also please no under 3 minutes ones)

Apparently "Lift You Up" sounds kinda radio basic, so I assume electro-pop-dance production with deep house elements
