With that kind of press on the horizon, the new song should have been bulletproof.

This is going to be a disaster and I can't believe she's dumb enough to do that....

Do you actually believe that anybody cares about him producing her song outside of pop forums?

I truly would like to know how in the world she and her team thought of planning a big pop comeback without thinking of the backlash that would come with this?

They probably thought bad press is good press.

The press, yeah.

We live in a time where stan opinions go semi-mainstream with people being way more aware of such things.

Of course moms will love the track on the radio but is that something to be proud of when the industry and its followers kinda laugh at you?

Kim Petras got such bad press for working with Luke and she was MUCH smaller back then.

I do wonder why she gets so much backlash over this when Doja and Nicki get… none? Is it cause she used to be friends with Kesha? Cause like yeah that's foul but the others working with him also show they dgaf about Kesha.

Why didn't she recruit Max Martin, Benny Blanco, and Stargate instead of Dr Luke? :foxaylove3:

But the people on pop forums/Twitter are Katy's main fans/stans and they most certainly will care.

My head is still hurting from that snippet. It's torturing at best. Just like all the TS stuff.

Max Martin and Stargate are confirmed as well.

"Katy knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen," a Capitol Records source confirms to Rolling Stone. "And that includes previous collaborators including Luke, Stargate, Max Martin, and Sarah Hudson, and some new heavy hitters such as Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes, and Theron Thomas."

Oh, Katheryn... You really didn't need this. She'll do more harm than good to the music industry with her new "feminist bangers". All Dr. Luke needed to claim his way back to the top is her and she gave it to him. Now everyone will work with him with no remorse if it turns out well for her. Oh, and by the way, Teenage Dream is a glorified mess.

The outrage against Kim Petras is different because he is A) the sole producer of her music for the most part and B) she is also under his label. And let's be real. She is only known on… pop forums and stan twitter communities.

Katy is still a mainstream artist. If nobody batted an eye when he produced for Lil Durk and J. Cole last year (ON A GRAMMY WINNING TOP 2 HIT) then why would anybody care if he is co-producing songs for Katy? He did Super Freaky Girl, nobody cared. He did half of Planet Her, and ended up making lile 5 global smash hits for her. Now that the lawsuits are over and settled and nobody is convicted of anything in the legal system, I doubt that this will be a "disaster" for her. But I could be wrong. BUT, it would be severely selective.

The amount of negative press and reactions already. I don't get how she thought this could work.

Oh. Is Benny Blanco in there too? Stargate and Benny Blanco always made bops. Hopefully Cirkuit is in there too.
