That being said she has that "western" chill and unhinged energy, while still not going over the top and being vulgar. This is the future of mainstream pop music. I mean guys, comparing this to camila who also dropped today is laughable at best. I like that the video, while still high budget, has been less messy - I'm sure it's a cultural thing, but when watching Kpop videos it's just scene after scene after scene of unrelated costumes, scenery, CGI effects and it's all a bit over the top for the sake of showing off - 'look at us, we can do all of that'. Here it's done way more cohesively (probably just more western lol), but yeah, I think it's gonna appeal to the WW masses even more. On the song, the Tame Impala influenced part was so refreshing and it didn't sound disjointed. At times, I felt like the pace was just a tad slower than I'd like it, but I'll blame TikTok and every producer having to think about that dreaded Sped Up version (which this song sound amazing in - which is, make no mistake, not a coincidence). If Rosalia collab and the VMAs is actually true though, it will be the absolute serve of the year and no one is ******* ready, and we could get the most memorable VMA performance in this decade. Ironically, from two acts who cover literally every world market together combined apart from the US/UK where Lisa will have to do the heavy-lifting. Pop music is changing in front of our eyes, I'm so excited, and I think this era could be the blueprint for a 21st century Pop star. I can argue that this has only been done by Rihanna, and it's no wonder Lisa reminds me so much of her.
