Congrats, Thailand. Singapore and Vietnam next.

Spoiler

I would not expect neighboring countries to follow because of religion and The Philippines being backwards with idiotic lawmakers.

In Europe, for example, almost all Western countries recognize it except Italy… Maybe the fact that one country is doing it can pressure the others to follow suit. Let's stay hopeful :clap3:

Let's hope so. But Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei are basically Islamic states. And the Philippines, weeeellll…..We can't even pass an equality act that will protect members of LGBT+ of bullying. :rip:

But Thailand and Taiwan are leading by example. :clap3:

This. My country (Italy) sucks for LGBTQ+ people in all honesty, especially If you're young. No matter the sexuality of the former point.

I'm pretty sure it's rooted in religion, unfortunately. Having the Vatican "inside" the country is not helping either when the Pope throws the *** around like myself at parties.

I hope one day Italy will follow the Western standard cause that's the only thing stopping me of visiting it.
