I know Camila has had a questionable history when she was 15 but I can see how so many people hate her for the same thing which was over a decade ago at this point, and they add so many exaggerated excuses or speculations to keep hating on her which is such a weird loser behavior. I dont even care about that girl and I've always gravitated towards Lauren and Dinah when I was following 5H, but I'm baffled at random people on the internet holding animosity towards a popstar for something ancient from a time when it's so easy for teenagers to make a mistake and not realize their mistake. Normani is so much more mature than I thought, she forgave forgot and moved on. More power to her.

 

Anyway, I see that the girls are getting more and more cool with each other as the years go by, and it's not impossible to think that a Fifth Harmony reunion is definitely coming in the future, especially since all of them can benefit from it since none of the four girls' solo careers have panned out as they planned, and Camila is also losing her mainstream relevance with time. A reunion is gonna get much needed attention and will bring the old early/mid 2010s fandom together I'm sure, since their online engagement was pretty big for those days' standards.

So I looked this up since y'all kept talking about it and I see that it was just one dancer not multiple dancers, and both her and the dancer said that it was supposed to be a heavy spray tan? Is this is what yall are basing your hatred on? Or is there more?

And the second part of your comment isn't relevant to my comment, I never talked about her music or artistic identity. That's an entirely different topic and I also prefer Normani's music to Camila's.

anyway, if you bought that dumb excuse that's on you. They literally used the black version of this emoji 💁‍♀️ mockingly and after the lashings she gave her usual non apology statement. Proving that the anti racism classes she took as an adult didn't work on her

Based on their profile photo and what they have been posting on this forum, they can't let go of a 2 decades old feud, let alone this one.

and idk, you're still talking about speculations and personal interpretations of things that might have been racist, there's nothing concrete as of recent. I'm literally just trying to understand why people still hate that girl so much over that one thing from when she was 15 and then pile on speculations to justify the hate. I'm saying this as a person of color btw.

ally kinda distanced herself from all the girls after the group broke up, its not a surprise that she had a really hard time in 5h. she didn't even have dinah's phone number when they had their reunion last year, their teams literally had to organise it for them

Idk man, it would be easier for me to take you seriously if I found your comments to be objective. But you're literally presenting an interpretation as a hard fact. People 'thinking of a spray tan as a black face' is hardly a concrete proof of someone deliberately being racist. But if you're so easily swayed by such interpretations, then I won't stop you. I just try to look at actual facts and use critical thinking when I'm faced with these sensitive topics such as racism. 
 

and I have to disagree, 15 is a very volatile age, and every adolescent has a different capacity of processing things and different levels of applying critical thinking. Camila simply was not there yet. I'm not defending her actions as passable, she should be held accountable for them and she was. I just don't see the need to using that as a benchmark to hate on her her whole life. That's not very mature and adult-like.

It was just ONE dancer who put a bit too much of a spray tan. Was Camila the one spraying it to make it look like black face?
