Her producers had to teach her how to rap like you teach a child their ABCs. She has zero lyrical talent, a fake accent and one (1) good song. Her career barely lasted a summer for a reason: there's nothing to latch onto.

 

But hey, she is the reason no label will try to push a white female rapper (even a talented one) ever again, so... impact, I guess?

Even though I do not stan her, have her blocked on Twitter, and will never spend another penny on her (I think), I will say... her career was very legendary and inspiring. Truly one for the books. If I were still a stan, which I am not, I would also mention she's still the second most successful female rapper (according to Wikipedia and numbers). Wow, just wow. Now this is an icon.

Regardless of whether or not Iggy is "talented", you just sound mad. She was talented as a creative and her visuals were always much more elevated than her peers at the time, she even still had platinum and gold singles 5 years after her debut. 

 

Her later music was terrible and I find it a shame the direction she decided to go in but to be ignorant and deny impact she did have during her career is just disrespectful.
