UnderratedVocalist Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Quote Nicole Scherzinger has been added to the lineup of performers for the 2024 Tony Awards, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal. The powerhouse vocalist and Masked Singer judge — who will be making her Broadway debut in a revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard this fall — has been selected to sing during the show's emotional In Memoriam segment, which honors those who have died in the theater community over the past year. https://people.com/nicole-scherzinger-to-sing-in-memoriam-segment-at-2024-tony-awards-8662676 Setting up the stage for her much awaited Tony takeover next year with Sunset Boulevard 1
bwhansen Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I'm feeling so sorry for her cause like she had a big chance of getting the Tony next year, and then Audra McDonald, Sutton Foster and Idina Menzel all announced Broadway runs.

I know this makes it way more difficult for her, but I still have hopes that she can still win it next year.
Spicy_TyTy Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I'd love if they eventually did a professional recording, more curious about her acting as she's had such praise. Rooting for her, I hope she sticks to broadway as that's where she belongs. Forget about that 3rd album tbh

They should milk it as much as possible, from cast recording, to live tv specials. Maybe even a movie after. Get her the EGOT with Sunset Boulevard alone
Inverted Posted June 18 Posted June 18 What did she end up performing? I'm happy for her. She will never be loved by the white gays or other taste tester demographics. She should move on to a niche where she'll get appreciated for her talent.
