I mean... It's not like anything outside of a two-states solution makes sense, considering how many people on both sides live in the area today. You just can't expell entire generations of Jews that have settled there for decades nor you can expell the Palestinians either. The way ahead will be very tough and almost impossible to sort out though, there's a lot of resentment of both ends, lots of suffering, lots of dehumanizing thoughts on both sides, lots of extremists. It's a pretty f*cked up situation, when you sit down to analyze the entire history of the region.

Let's understand that Israel, when that happened, has and had a right to defend itself.

I think the **** not.

Defend itself from WHAT? It's the occupier and colonizer in this and it has been committing ethnic cleansing and genocide against Palestinians for decades. Anybody entertaining this "self-defense" narrative and acting like this "war" (not even the right word for it) started on Oct 7, 2023 and not +75 years ago is complicit in this genocide.

Once again, nothing this lady says makes sense. The real-life simulation of Veep continues.

Love her conviction. She proves to us consistently that the only line she can draw out is a white line. :clap3:

Because those people who were at a music festival were committing ethnic cleansing.

This colonizer / oppressor language is such bullsh*t that resonates with no one outside of your online echo chambers.

yet you all are the first ones to scream "all eyes on rafah" because of innocent women and children… just like how oct 7 was full of innocent people

She's like the ChatGPT of politics. She will up that word count and try her best. Talking in circles like she's writing product descriptions on WISH or Temu.

"Let's understand that Israel, when that happened, has and had a right to defend itself. We would. And let's understand that how it does so matters. There are many truths that exist at the same time. Far too many innocent Palestinian civilians have been killed. We are looking at famine conditions. Aid must get in. And hostages must be freed. And we need a two-state solution. And we need to have a cease-fire to get to a place where we can start building toward a two-state solution. And Palestinians are entitled to security and dignity and self-determination. And Israelis are entitled to security and safety."

It's a shame she came after Obama cause her personality is likable but post-Obama reality means these kind of politicians reasonably hold no more social capital.

Palestinians need security but an ethno-state also have a right to exist.

Healthcare is a right but also everyone deserves to keep their private insurance if they like it.

We are at a global climate crisis that requires radical action but also the oil companies aren't the enemy and deserve to make money like everyone else.

Police brutality must end but also police are a key and needed part of securing the average American community.

We need social justice but also a tough cop who cares about law and order.

She's not just one icon. She's every icon. Me... I am Kamala, the elusive chantuese.

nnnnn; not sure whether to like, laugh, or cry react to this post...

I don't care what this fake c*nt has to say, considering she tossed away all her progressive values she had when she was running for POTUS just to become the VP. Centrist c*nts can rot! :giraffe:

I mean...literally yes. Their presence in Israel maintains it as a Jewish ethno-state. Liberals can't adapt to social justice rhetoric and now reject it when found stuck with a blood thirsty ally. You can't throw 2 decades of rhetoric on white privilege and intersectionality and colonialism away now that somehow it's inconvenient.

If you were trying to make a coherent argument, you'd instead position that the ethnic cleansing of Palestine should be addressed through international cooperation and peacemaking, not rogue militant assaults on civilians and hostage-taking in retaliation to decades of subjugation.

But I think you know that such leads to a question most can't answer - what exactly do Palestinians do if Israel is unwaveringly a Zionist entity dedicated to the eradication of the Palestinian people?

Of course no innocent civilians should be hurt. Targeting civilians is a war crime. Yet if you actually thought this, you'd then know the only way to end harm to Israeli citizens is the elimination of Israel as a state. To end the Zionist entity. Because creating a state where a de-facto privileged majority is continually enabled to subjugate all other ethnicities then makes claims of self-defense meaningless. Because it is the existence of Israel in which the antagonism lies and which keeps a cycle of war crime for war crime going.

I see no indication of this not being Israel's plan though.

A two state solution has been sabotaged by Israel planting nearly one million illegal settlers in the West Bank - a war crime that the US acknowledges but doesn't care about.

60,000 Americans are occupying Palestinian land in the West Bank. What security can she guarantee for the Palestinians currently being terrorised and lynched by settlers arriving from New Jersey to steal land from indigenous Palestinians?

Nonsense. Does she need a reminder that it was the US who opposed a ****ing ceasefire resolution at the UN REPEATEDLY and gave a veto any state attempting to propose a ceasefire when Israel's genocide against Gaza began? Give us a break Harris. We're not stupid.

Remove them all. Problem is solved. I mean 8 million Ukrainians were displaced within a year. Displacing 500,000  settlers is no big deal

When people talk about a two-state solution and don't tell you what sort of two state solution they mean, it is completely meaningless. Whenever people say "two state solution" you should ask them to show you a map. Are they talking about pre 1967 borders, Bantustans, or something else?

White supremacists get really angry when you show them this one.
