In 2020, Biden won these states by: MN (7 points), VA (11 points), NH (7 points), NV (3 points).

Despite winning New York by 23 points in 2020, his polling lead has dwindled to 8 points in 2024.

There's no justification for Biden not to step down and be replaced at the convention at this point. Shame on the DNC for pushing him and Kamala onto voters in 2020.

Biden's loss is going to be historic. Without a doubt. DNC needs to ******* wise up.

He will probably win NY, but the fact that it is this close is a horrible omen of what's to come. Democrats usually need a blowout in the popular vote margin to win in the electoral college.

Biden will win every single state you are talking about there except maybe NV which isn't a dem strong hold. It's been close for the past few elections. Its a swing state 😂

Everyone who supported this man over Sanders in 2020 on the argument of "electability" should be embarrassed tbh. :rip:

Sleepy Joe is gonna be embarrassed too when he loses.

Unfortunately, a lot of people are not taught to read omens until it's too late. Politics as usual is over in America and the West in general.

He'll definitely win NY, but idk how people aren't more alarmed by the polling so far… voting begins in 4 months and for Trump to have closed the gaps in those states would be concerning for any Democratic candidate. Nevada has not been red for 20 years… He's performing worse than Hillary as an incumbent against a man that is a now convicted felon. If he's down this bad in states that should be easy wins, what does that say about his swing state prospects?

Not surprised. Biden's presidency was a big failure in every single possible way.

They know something is wrong. They just won't admit it because this is their plan in real-time imploding in on itself.

Basically Democrat partisans and loyalists thought the threat of Trump would be enough to stomp and force the progressive activist base into silence over Biden's ideological shift towards the right (driven by his personal investment in the Zionist entity), whether that be on immigration, foreign policy, inflation, etc.

Problem: This didn't work by how grave the scenes coming out of Gaza are. You can't find it in yourself to convince others to vote for someone who you think enjoys dead children.

Consequence: In the absence of a progressive activist base to pushback on right-wing talking points peddled by corporate media, normie Americans now hate Biden for issues that even go beyond policy. They uniformly think he's old and unintelligible and has failed in his administration.

Dems have silenced the left within their own corner and, as a by-product of this choice to protect Biden's ego, allowed the right to flourish in the media-sphere and public discourse.

Joe Biden's legacy is going to be remembered for the eroding of rights and the decimating of the progressive movement back 20-30 years.

I can't actually articulate just how angry I am over this. How we are here because well-to-do liberals hate poor people. Because "Medicare For All" was "scary" for some.

New poll released today shows improvement for Biden in the battleground states

He won't but Trump gaining like this in NY is honestly astonishing. These trials have done the exact opposite of what Dems thought. You can scoff at this all you want but this is a sign that Biden will most certainly lose Pennsylvania and Georgia meaning all Trump would need is a win in Michigan and it's JOEVER.

The polls will yoyo until we're much closer. Nothing to freak out about now. A lot can happen in the next 5 months.

This isn't a sign of anything. And the trials and the conviction did what they were suppose to. Polls after indicate that while Trump hasn't lost any points, Biden has gained. Which means that those who were undecided or wasn't going to vote are now deciding on Biden.

Stop the dramatics.

Polls don’t really yo-yo this far out. They’re fairly stable. They’re probably more stable than usually because the “yo yo” phenomenon happens as voters become more familiar with the candidates. That’s not possible in this race. Trump is the most overexposed presidential candidate in history and has been president for four years. Biden has also been president. We’re all very well acquainted with the two candidates so don’t expect any major yo-yoing.

ATRL is Groundhog Day with polls. Every day is the same discussion and same points over every single poll released. Any minor fluctuation is painted by each member to fit whatever narrative they want to tell. It's wild people will type essays to say what they've said 10000 times before

This is what happens when we nominate dementia patients. I guess no sane person would want the presidency these days tho.
