Distantconstellation Posted June 8 Posted June 8 So I never understood that, even when I was 15 and pulled all nighters I still felt like utter **** the next day, it made no difference when I'm older... 1
Cheers Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Yea it's just the older the you get the more responsibilities you have so you actually have to be up early therefore feeling more tired/like ****.
Kern Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I'm 25 and I can't imagine being awake after midnight … and so I didn't when I was in high school
selena_lavigne Posted June 8 Posted June 8 There is nothing quite like watching the sun come up after staying up all night.
karron0624 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I tell that to my husband all the time "i used to be able to drink all night and go to work the next morning" no honey, you would drink and either work sloppy and drunk or call out the next morning. You just dont have the pleasure of calling out or working at a dead end job anymore. 2
Batsy Armada Posted June 9 Posted June 9 My job keeps me up and moving all day long. Often times, I'll get off and immediately go to the gym. Most times I'm leaving for work in the morning and not getting back home until well after midnight. I might crash for an hour, or so, and then I'm back awake—staying up for the better part of the night and early morning. Like currently at 5:32 a.m. All of that moving around is what keeps me young, I'm sure, and full of energy. I'm still pulling those all-nighters to some degree.
Pendulum Posted June 9 Posted June 9 no cause you spilled. I go to bed at 22:00 and wake up at 7:00, every day, it's a routine
John Slayne Posted June 9 Posted June 9 there's several factors contributing to this: - older people usually have more responsibilities and take their jobs/parenting more seriously - yes your body does get slower as you age (especially from your late 30s onwards) - most people party and do all-nighters when they're young and it gets tired quickly. like older people COULD do it again but they are less enticed by the idea because they know what it's like, there is no novelty in that experience. so psychologically they feel less inclined to do it and justify that by saying it's their bodies that won't allow them to do it when in reality they just can't be bothered.
Alldeezy Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Lmao same I went our Saturday in my 30s and I slept most of the Sunday waking up at 2am to catch up on stuff but still feel dead. Idk how im gonna recover for Thursday and Saturday
