Can we stop with the notion that Charli XCX is the only artist allowed to make electro-pop  We actually need more artists making that kind of music, it's cool and fresh and charts are boring without it

I just hope it's something similar to Never Really Over or Daisies or Electric. That type of songs fit her so well. If it's anything other than that, especially something similar to the cringe fest she later released on Smile (like NTEOTW or the title track or Small Talk or Resilient) or what she did on Witness or Prism, well… good luck with that

Charli is kinda the blueprint for a pop artist with a solid fanbase. Whilst she never reached the heights of some of her peers, that mainstream success never really translated into an actual dedicated following in the way that Charli has. Plus she's become something of a critics darling, an area where a lot of popstars struggle.
