I was looking at HDD's year-to-date album units chart today and was pleasantly surprised to see that quite a few albums by female artists are present in the top 50:

 

1. 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT' - 6.75M units

2. 'Short N' Sweet' - 2.30M

3. 'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT' - 2.10M

4. 'SOS' - 1.83M

5. 'The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess' - 1.80M

6. 'Lover' - 1.52M

7. '1989 (Taylor's Version) - 1.44M

8. 'COWBOY CARTER' - 1.37M

9. 'Midnights' - 1.35M

10. 'eternal sunshine' - 1.31M

13. 'brat' - 1.07M

14. 'reputation' - 0.94M

Any surprises to you?

It's nice to see that 'evermore' is still hanging on and that 'Ctrl' is also having fantastic longevity.

I stand by the fact that she is the closest we've seen to Taylor Swift since. Guts is serving Speak Now to Sour's Fearless. But she has dedicated album-consuming fanbase.
